- Jawa 42 Bobber is a cruiser bike available at a starting price of Rs. 2,06,500 in India. It is available in 3 variants and 3 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 2,09,187. The Jawa 42 Bobber is powered by 334cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 30.2 bhp and a torque of 32.74 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Jawa 42 Bobber comes up with anti-locking braking system.

This bike has better features than Perak. LED lighting and a much better instrument cluster. Also USB charging is available. I’m wondering why this is still cheaper than Perak. 🤔

I think those high rise ape handlebars will look really good like the ones on the Harley panheads .. Like i said it's a bike for endless customisation just like the interceptor.. The challange will be to go up against RE cause up till now jawa hasn't put up a very formidable show. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out

Review is really good , however few questions what about the ground clearance , people were cribbing for the hunters ground clearance also this Jawa yezdi engines are known for their mechanical clatter and heating .I wish they had given tubeless tires will alloy wheels as standard and. I understand it is a bobber but at least give an option for seat extension.

Better than perak in some features but still no centre stand, or alloy wheels 2 basics in India needed.

It's there in the accesories, some people do prefer the spoked wheels looks. And well we are not buying truimphs to get spoked tubeless tyres😂.

this is yezdi scrambler from the front and Perak from the back. hopefully, they have improved the milage in this bike.

They should have made a cruiser using the same frame..its possible and it will be more practical than a bobber..for example triumph has their bobber and speed master cruiser..what if i want to ride this bike with my girl friend or my son or daughter..RE is making a 650 cruiser, which will be expensive but practicality is there..i hope jawa will be releasing a two seater cruiser version of the same 42 bobber in near future

A question here Nitish anna, do you think it makes sense to have a Perak and this one in their line up? Its just upgraded version of Perak. To be frank it retains rear from Perak and is a Yezdi from front. What Jawa's RnD team is doing is a question. Again it gets the same 334 cc engine which is on Perak and all Yezdis, so no major update there.
Yes is gets few upgrades like a good console and LED lights which few Perak owners would have wanted but I don't think a new bike was needed. Bobbers are not practical machines they are for fun and when a company makes such copies without any RnD, it really disappoints people. Just my point view.
Even Yezdi's were copies. Roadster and Jawa 42 2.1 are identical except the engine.

Hey Kaustubh, I somehow missed out on this comment. You’ve pointed it out rightly however there is just one execute and that is.. Jawa 42 Bobber is a lifestyle motorcycle, bobbers aren’t really practical but for style.
Whatever looks good and rides well for lifestyle should do the trick and this bike ticks all the right points that you need to ride and have fun.

Modern day engines don’t really need that, however it’s a good habit to develop.
Side stand sensor doesn't work on neutral, afaik.

Did you have any belly rub issues on speed breakers?
Not today but I can tell you one thing.. I used to ride a dominar 400 with 157mm as ground clearance.. sometimes I have felt the belly rub on uneven speed breakers.. so you can expect the same on this motorcycle as well
