Thanks for the video. I'm a homeowner with a keen attention to detail but I'm not interested in setting up a spraying station in my backyard. I think the 4" foam roller I have will do just fine. Good enough for a little elbow grease!

When you used the foam roller on the door did it leave bubbles n bumps on surface?

I had a painter roll my doors and that exactly how they ended bubbles, bumps and no shine. Not glossy and flat like the brush leaves.

@@tiddlesa.6125 Yes thats what i was affraid of bubbles etc, spraying is best way but cost of a decent sprayer is 250$ i have 5 doors but then will never need the sprayer again i probably will use 1/4" nap roller with high quality brush hooefully it will be decent👍

Chris Camacho water quick dry, oil is old fashioned and it smell would remain for days while gettung you high😂

Use a small foam roller, this is an acrylic semi gloss paint

I have doors that have been stained with a very dark brown, looks nearly black. I primed one door twice but the stain is bleeding through. Is there a primer you'd suggest that would work stopping the bleeding?

Correction...Do not put a lot of paint in the center of the door. in those crevices, less is better

I wouldn't say he painted the doors wrong as the final finish wasnt to bad. But i definitely wouldn't consider this a demonstration to follow. Just by the way he holds the roller and brush, along with his movement is obvious that hes not an experienced painter.

30 years as a painter, I am not going to start a channel just to train you how to do it the right way, but you have to know what you show is trash taught only for homeowner consumption, no real painter would do this trash work finish for a customer.
