- This video demonstrates utilizing the Hallucination set to assist with stabilizing your crit rate as an Igniter Sorceress, the benefits, as well as the cons. This is only recommended after your version of the game has updated the Hallucination set to refresh the buff effect after any attack instead of after critical hits. It also goes over advanced cast rotation tips for once your gear is good enough.

Damn, Arcane Cancel to maintain adrenaline that's realllly pogger ! Do you think it's worth it playing Spec/Swift with Adre/Hallu providing crit rate, using the Swiftness to make all of this (double Eso, more leeway on the in-between spell, movement speed, adrenaline management), especially in our current state of the game with lvl7 gems ? I want to build this way so I'm not reliant on support at all (especially, bussing)
If you're considering swift you might just go the Dominion build.
Would you say its better to use rime arrow + esoteric + frost call inside igniter everytime or sometimes wait for arcane to finish so you already start building meter again?
It's generally better? The only time I don't is if I need to re-align for a major damage window. Sometimes I cancel after Explosion and Punishing Strike if I want to immediately build meter again for something like a boss stagger in 20-25 seconds (based off the stagger bar for example). Like a half burst?

Could it be possible for the spec/swift build to go with PD and Hallu to get a reasonable amount of crit to play around?

The Swift build will run into mana issues more easily I'm afraid with the setup, even if the crits seems really nice.
should be possible and imo the over all more solid build for anyone without lvl 10 cd gems, because you can easily fit more skills into ignite.
I run dagger/swiftness 5x3 for months now on eu and regularly outdps cursed doll/crit sorcs with similar gear and ontop of everything you have a way better time playing, dodging and doing non-raid content with a bit of swiftness.
So if i understood it correctly the main advantage of hallu over nightmare is that its just more consistent in normal content where you dont always have crit synergies in ur team? And you also dont have to worry about mana burn/generate phase so hallu is just way more consistent/chill to play without being that much worse?
its the opposite, nightmare you wouldnt care about mana burn, cuz it recovers mana. but yeah basically, full party sinergy> Nightmare has potentially more dmg, No sinergy > Hallucination has more dmg.
@@Luc9Nine ofc you care about mana burn as nightmare, literally the set has 2 effects and one of them is a mana burn phase. If you wanna utilize nightmare to the fullest you use igniter while having the dmg% buff effect, then drop below 30% mana after igniter ends and get the mana rege/cooldown buff which helps you to reach full idenity faster. Then right before you get full idenity again you should be full mana again and get back to the dmg% buff effect. And then you repeat that. And doing that correctly and perfecting it and not accidently going into a new state too early requires a lot of micromanagement. Ofcourse you can just turn ur brain off and not think about it, but then you will lose out on dps.
Now that legendary pets are available in EU/NA, whih ability is best for igniter sorceress? Maybe Cheers of Resonance for the meter gain?

Depends. Sorc deals a lot of damage even if not much invested in, but if you want to get out max potential then it gets really pricey with high lvl gems, engravings are in demand. But in general, ye a good alt.

But esoteric is not elemental skill, it does the same dmg during ignition, or is it changed in KR version? I need asnwers pls, my esoteric hits 1.8 mill in and out ignition, my game is broken? or could it be you dont know this?
When using Light of Salvation card set at 12 awakening allows esoteric to be affected by the dmg buff from arcane rupture. Because all your dmg is converted to light and light is considered an elemental type

is this valid with relic hallucination set too? the numbers in our EU version of the game are i little bit lower, even if not by much. I think it's still viable tho and it would solve the big crit chance issue the sorc has right now
Is there a level of Doomsday Cooldown Gem that I have to have in order to double cast it within one hype combo?
With the nightmare set, would the tripods for doomsday, punishing strike and explosion be altered? Currently I am using mana on doomsday and punishing strike and ignite on explosion. Should I change it to ignite on doomsday and explosion and AOE on punishing?
With nightmare u Will not have mana issues, so u dont need mana tripods, use the damage ones
May I ask you to clarify on why you wouldn't choose Keen Blunt Weapon if you're over 70% crit? Majority builds that run KBW recommend minimal 60%.
81% crit chance is required for Keen Blunt Weapon to outperform 16% damage during Igniter.
545 Crit stat (necklace + horizontals) = 19.5% crit
Igniter Engraving = 25% crit
Hallucination LvL2 = 25% crit
=
69.5
Which means to use KBW we require a source of 12% crit. This would either be an 18% crit synergy active for your entire ignite OR 15% crit from Adrenaline.

i run 5x3 but with dagger because i got lucky on my dagger rock so would i go for nightmare? also how i used rupture is first i use the explosion and punishing strike then i do doomsday and rapture so the other 2 skills got maximum cool down reduced in my head its like getting 2 free skills also i use blaze between doomsday and rapture. well saw the end geus ill stay nigtmare

Yes, it's a normal rotation, just demonstrates how to build 3 stacks of Adrenaline before the combo begins, since Doomsday + Frost Call + Arcane Rupture accounts for the other 3 stacks.
This build makes Igniter feel so much better, although the class still feels slow after getting used to Caster Reflux.
Consider going swiftniter, much faster casting and you can fit 2 of all the big spells and 3 of esoteric reaction/rime arrow in a single igniter. I used to be casting reflux, changed to a classless casting build with swiftness primary and finally settled on swift igniter as being the best feeling casting build (for me). Casting reflux isn't very good compared to the classless swiftcaster or swiftniter. And they are a lot cheaper to build as well.
Does Igniter state must be on when skill hits, or its enough it has been casted while Igniter state was on but ends before skill hits the target? Im talking about arcane rapture ending state.

Use Blaze before the entire rotation begins! Blaze should be on the enemy all the time anyways.

Can someone explain something to me when the effect is up it only give 5 percent crit chance and 25 percent dmg ik this is bec its lvl 1 but where does 25 critchance come from
The 4-piece set also gives crit rate % (15/18/20). The 6-piece gives another crit rate % (5/7/8).
Damage % comes from 2-piece (13/15/17) and 6-piece (12/14/15)

So if I grab Adrenaline instead of precise dagger is better going sub-crit or sub-swift? I tested both options in Trixion and it's seems that I need the cast speed of the swiftness to have more consistency on landing doomsday+frost call
There is also big difference in CD gems levels and that makes the Swift better (or at least easier) to manage.
Kinda depends on what you want to achieve. Possible the highest numbers but harder to play?
Or less risky play which can even be more enjoyable for lot of people, but having slightly lower ceiling?
@@_Tomon going swiftness doesn't reduce damage ceiling my friend. You will see the highest no. In both spec/swift and spec/crit. It's just that you touch the big dmg numbers More frequently in spec/crit. Considering that swiftness gives you decent cdr and kinda ensures that you land your skills every single time, it makes up for the lost crit chance imo

Would it be worth to invest in a Esoteric Reaction lv9 CD gem then ? Just to be able to do the double eso rotation even with a lv 7 atk gem?
I think things like a high level Doomsday gem are more important, as well as damage. The extra damage from Arcane Rupture is nice on the second Esoteric Reaction, but not vital, and if you do decide to Quick Preparation Rime Arrow, you can do double Rime Arrow with a lower level gem, though it's less convenient since you have to burn spacebar for that.
@@Saintone Sorry I should've mentioned my gem setup ahah, I already have doomsday atk 10 with CD9, and Explosion & PS Lv 9 atk too and I'm kinda stuck on deciding which gem should I buy right now which is why I considered lv9 esoteric CD as my next buy.
I was also thinking about getting all lv 9 atk gems but I feel like Eso CD might be better first since I would be able to do it twice in one Arcane Rupture rotation compared to the rest. Maybe CD10 doomsday ? Idk

No, because Esoteric reaction is the only non-elemental skill we use. Arcane Rupture only affects elemental skills.

do you need to have a full gauge before you start your rotation? im getting up a new alt and i find it so effortless to just get 30% gauge, doomsday punishing explosion and rinse & repeat. (im full lvl 5 gems so i wouldent be able to double doomsday without swift on neck) but are there any other downsides to popping your stuff at 30 gauge othen then not being able to do double doomsday?
The benefits of the Igniter buff only apply when using the buff at full gauge. The playstyle you're describing is a type of build, but you wouldn't use your class engraving with it.

It's normal, yeah. It's a little bit easier with more attack speed from buffs, but level 8 is a little bit tight.

with 8 lvl cd gem you need to spam 1 sec before cd comes so you can cast insta when cd ends. otherwise high chance arcane rupture will end before it lands.
@@ZiuGigi for me, you can time it with auto attack. Blaze > doomday > autoattack > ignite > then rest of your skill to land double doomdays consistent with lv8 gem cd, but yeah theres a risk when you doing autoattack you get knockdown and failed to open your igniter

At that low level, I don't think it really matters. Inferno is just convenient because it doesn't use any tripod levels to generate decent identity gauge, it has weak point as versatility if you need it, and it's point-and-click and instant.
I'm igniter sorc and I can't even cancel the explosion backstep when in arcane rupture mode :S
You'll get the hang of it, it's just muscle memory.

It seems unnecessary for Mayhem Berserker since his crit rate is already so high (default + Red Dust/Chain Sword). It would be recommended to just use Nightmare for maximum damage.

man i hate NM set too, no for the silver but that you have to use awakening as fast as posible. that is not good for igniter because you do more dmg with it at arcane rapture
The change the set to the one you like more. There are few other options and you should choose what you actually enjoy to play.
@@MrPsyco14 The damage from Awakening is kinda meh at higher levels anyway. Honestly to use it as a way to get more identity is often better than trying to boost it via Arcane Rupture ;)
Esotéric works with AR?
If you have Light of Salvation +12 or better equipped, it will convert Esoteric Reaction to Light property damage and allow it to be improved by AR.
