The Mist of Yamato (Modern Jinashi Shakuhachi Song) 大和の霧 | Kurofune

I often ran in the Nijo Mountains and Katsuragi mountains in the morning when I lived in Nara. Looking out over the Yamato area (the ancient name for Nara), the morning mist rises, bringing with it a new day. 1300 years of change, but the morning mist always eventually rises.
The Mist of Yamato (大和の霧) is off of the self-titled album "Kurofune" with Izukawa "Shido" Hidefumi. This is Josh's original composition with Shido's electro-acoustic background and sound engineering. Recorded at the Osaka University of Fine Arts. Played on a 2.1 Neptune jinashi shakuhachi.
