@@ehmiguel7602 Indeed. They pretty much just fast-forwarded what happened in the actual series. A couple of humans try to take out Buu after he becomes friends with Hercule. They end up seriously injuring Hercule, who tried to fight them, and also kill a dog that Buu had as a pet. Buu heals them both and deals with the humans but is unable to control the rage that manifests at these events, which flys out of him and transforms into another, purely evil Buu. Fat Buu and Evil Buu have a short fight and fat buu loses and is eaten.

There were a few things about Buu that they didn't bring up. First, Buu's regeneration seems to get slower if he has to do it too frequently. Second, regarding that explosion that left only bits of him - he was distracted while trying to escape the blast, and got hit by the EDGE of the explosion. If he were any closer in, there likely wouldn't have been anything left of him - so spitting the Planet Burst right back into his face was certainly the best bet to finish him.
I'm super late, but they also didn't mention certain things about Kirby, either. For one thing, surviving a planet-sized explosion is NOT the height of his durability; as shown in Wario VS King Dedede, Kirby also survived an entire _dimension_ collapsing on top of him, which is FAR higher than Buu's best damage output. Kirby is also far faster than light - he frequently keeps up with Meta Knight, who flew across the entire galaxy in mere seconds. GG ez.

They low balled Buu so badly, we’ve seen Buu in the past destroy galaxies quickly or in a few shots, he’s flew through galaxies, he scales to Goku who can fly across the afterlife which is a universe in size so he’s massively faster than light just like Kirby. And Buuhan is the strongest Buu, he was gonna destroy the whole universe and survive i.

Keep in mind, that a pea-sized black hole would tear apart Earth in moments and would destroy the sun given a bit more time. And even the strongest DBZ character would be obliterated by being tossed in the sun, which is vastly inferior to even the pea-sized black hole above (while the planet-sized one is infinitely nastier). And given that even light can't escape a black hole (which is why it's called a *_black_* hole), that means that Kirby is most definitely far faster than light.
Kirby 100% has the edge on both durability and speed.
In Kirby: Planet Robobot, Kirby is quoted to have infinite power. Feats wise, Kirby destroys planets with his fists, survive and escape black holes, defeat galactic threats, and even kill Magolor who threaten to rule the universe. Kirby also destroyed a planet size machine with nearly infinite power. Pretty sure, Buu is the underdog.

Superman is physically stronger, faster, and more durable, but Kirby is more versatile and isn't one that can die by blunt force alone.
Superman can phase through Kirby's body and tear his heart apart or Kirby could inhale Superman and just gain his DNA.

To be honest though, through mistranslations and lack of common sense (understandable since it's an anime) Kidd Buu was only "stronger" because of rage. Technically he should be weaker than Majin and definitely weaker than Super Buu (Gohan Absorbed).

Another plus for Kirby, he WAS the only one to actually survive being Thanos'd by Galeem XDDD (sorry to anyone who hasn't seen or played Super Smash Brothers Ultimate)
And while surviving Galeem isn't canon, Sakurai (the developer of Smash Bros and the guy who created Kirby) has explicitly confirmed that Kirby canonically would have been able to escape such a feat, along with Palutena and Bayonetta. Which makes sense, since Kirby seems to fight and beat threats of similar power levels like Zero and Void on a semi-regular basis.
(Also, for anyone wondering why Palutena and Bayonetta could have survived with their canon powers but didn't, it's basically because Bayonetta couldn't react to what was going on fast enough to escape to the demon world, and Palutena was trying to protect Pit/Pittoo. Shulk also likely could have survived if he was at his max power, but from the shape of his sword, his Smash iteration is clearly Shulk from less than halfway through Xenoblade.)

@@Mojo1356 It doesn't matter if he can dodge them. Without going super, he can't fly. Considering Galeem was shown spreading its reach across an entire galaxy, Sonic would only be able to run for so long before running out of safe spaces.
@@pengie-gw2lu don’t underestimate what the blue blur can do. He can just homing attack onto other places to keep running or just run on the water.
Not to mention that in Sonic Advanced 2, Super Sonic lasted for days.

As far as I can understand the whole Kid Buu thing during the fight, they said that Kid Buu was essentially rage incarnate. Majin Buu got so damn pissed off after Kirby swallowed him that the rage collected and was expelled as Kid Buu, similar in nature to how all the evil within him collected and formed into the Pure Evil form in the actual series.
You know how in DBZ when majin buu got super mad and split into majin buu and grey buu, well the same thing happend here just with kid buu.

I know this is an old topic by now, but I don't think Kirby actually kills his enemies. Whenever he defeats or swallows them, they always jut poof away and then reappear a little bit later. While you could just chalk this up to game design I like to think that kirby inhales them, swallows their abilities and the infinite universe of his stomach warp gates them back to their starting position.

So in the video, they said Buu's never had to combat an opponent that can move faster than light. But how can that be when he's fought opponents who can instantly teleport?
Is…is that it? Is teleportation just speed? Does the road runner know teleportation?
Since it can be debated if he reacts to the person after they teleport and not the instant speed of teleportation itself it’s debatable but it was said he could destroy the universe over time which it is infinite so even taking finite time to cross infinity is infinite speed.
The better point is that there’s so many feats of faster than light they ignored till later episodes of theirs when they got better researchers. Buu went across galaxies blasting massive holes in them and destroying them very quickly on screen in the past, he scales above Goku who can react to Freiza’s laser beams, Goku can cross the afterlife which is a universe and it’s Massively Faster than Light, Buy is so much faster than light just like Kirby it’s just downplay.

I know I'm five years late, but maybe y'all read back comments.
I remember talking to my little brother when this video came out originally, and he made the point that all of Kirby's games are about planet busters. A lot of mainline Kirby Villains are some cutesie cupie-doll version of a demon from the deepest pits of hell or some cosmic space horror face that eats stars and kirby just poyo's them to death. Buu would probably be a challenge, but definitely in Kirby's wheelhouse.

@@Mojo1356 Majin from blasting planets abruptly, created blackholes due the sudden change of space after the nova explosions, which these happen suddenly in universal time measuring, dimensional layer shattering in place, and doing it just again eons distanced away in mere mili seconds, EONS distance. Speed and power hard composition and damage that far supasses our Kirby. I have seen everything that Kirby has done he just can pair up like with Majin Buu. But all for the sake of 2D sprite fights I guess. The most damaging thing Kirby could ever fo to Majin Buu, that is if he stays still and doesn't move at Mark 10 speed at close quarters or speed into another planet immediately without trying to really get there from one corner of a galaxy to the opposite corker in milliseconds. Anything moving at that speed to be unscathed or undamaged in the process could easily punch a sun open and create not a nova but a SUPER Nova, which in a manner, he, Majin Buu has done before. Kirby could somewhat managed to skip out of them.. but assistance of tools of transportation or another creatures power by skipping into another realm, but again, by someone else's power. Majin Buu is basically a genie, that can keep a Super Saiyan 3 at bay, not necessarily regenerate since he wasn't really damaged from attacks that could obliterate entire nebulas successively and consecutively in one shot, this monster had ki, power, magic, unnatural physique and many characteristics that were deemed a god's threatening entity. Kirby can't move like him, can't deal the damage, can't keep up the speed without assistance of foreign powers sucked into himself and even with that could really scratch him or truly damage wven if he managed to make contact. Majin Buu can absort or turm anything into food without any high expense of powet anything straining, endlessly, he just has to grab him or Blow himself apart inside Kirby or absord him from the inside,he literally screamed himself from a dimension to another.

Remember how the spirit bomb is designed to destroy evil incarnate like Buu? The star rod is that weaponized, so Buu should have been dead from it. You are a lying Dragon Ball fanboy if you think you know Kirby, who defeats beings that have destroyed entire dimensions on a regular basis- beings that far surpass Buu in power. He’s also defeated Void Termina, who is a multiversal threat from his omnipresence.

If Buu’s best speed is mach 10, then Kirby can easily react to him since he can dodge lasers with ease in nightmare in dreamland. Also, if keeping Super Saiyan 3 at bay is the best thing you have for scaling, then Buu is absolute dead meat against Kirby. Kirby would destroy Super Saiyan 3 Goku. Hell, even Ultra Instinct won’t be enough against the Pink Puffball because he’s beaten foes tougher than that.
The warp star once flew across the entire milky way galaxy in a mere 2 minutes, way faster than the light speed Nintendo is claiming it has and also not outside help (I don’t think the writers know how much faster traveling across a galaxy in 2 minutes is compared to light speed). Also, if you think Kirby doesn’t have the power to scratch Buu when he has the star rod and deals with dimension busters like Magalor, as well as omnipresent beings like Void Termina, then like I said, you are a liar like Seth if you actually think you know Kirby. Kirby would solo the entire Dragon Ball multiverse- even Zeno. You people making blatantly false statements about Kirby being weaker than Buu are Dragon Ball fanboys who don’t know anything about Kirby, and you should feel bad about making false statements. To help you two out i think this might be a little nod to how buu split him and his evil side because if you noticed buu gets so mad that he splits kid buu out of him kinda like how when a shooter shot mr satan/hercule buu got so mad he split evil buu out of him

I to answer your question Jazz when Buu got angry his dark side separated from his good side and overpowered good Buu. When Goku and Vegeta freed everyone Super Buu absorbed including good Buu he regressed to his original form Kid Buu. So in essence Kid Buu existed in Majin Buu and formed from the stream Buu emitted in anger.

People when they talk about buus speed bring up he’s faster than light, but that isn’t combat speed.
