honestly if this model was in the place of burntrap in the official game it would have made the reveal much better. even though i like burntrap's design, the mimic would have been a better antagonist reveal.
think about it. it would have been a cool pay off for the people who have watched the trailer and wondered who that hand belonged to, and it would have been a much more distinct and overall creepy design without needing to be another springtrap redesign, while having fans still being able to recognize him as a william afton (with the rabbit ears on top of this "unknown" endoskeleton).
Mimic isn't Afton though,atleast not literally,but spiritually,thematicaly,you get it right?
@@TheShape45 i know that, but that's not a problem. the mimic dosen't need to be william afton, just the puppet master that was pulling vanny's strings and controlling her actions, and overall the big bad of the entire game.

Buuut... What if it is, the mimic, in the Afton's corpse as a costume ? He's a mimic, right? He wears costumes to appear someone else. What if the mimic itself is the body of the bunny Glitch who follows you trough Ruin? So many questions, yet we have to wait for the sequel

It would make logical sense to me if Burntrap and William Afton are not the same person in the Burntrap ending. Having Mimic posing as William Afton/Burntrap makes it seem like an ideal reality. We should be seeing him in the RUIN DLC or not, we'll have to see. There are a lot of theories that needed to be cleared up.

Now, this is how the Mimic should have appeared in SB.
It would make sense that Burntrap and Glitchtrap are both the mimic and not our old William. Notice how Burntrap would act "odd" and its not possible for Afton to come back as Burntrap because Afton generally acts very active if you notice him in FNAF3 and 6.
Glitchtrap also is the same.
In SB, burntrap acts slow and acts "programmed" simply because its programmed to mimic. Burntrap also walks slow during SB ending which is NOT william's behavior at all.
For now, people have to accept that Afton family are long gone. Michael is gone, Elizabeth is gone, CC is gone and so is William, who is probably in UCN and probably in hell forever. The story of afton is long gone now.
The new story starts with new location, new motives, new antagonist, new protagonists and legacy that carries onto new generation.
William indeed always come back, not as his physical nor spiritual but rather his chaos and evil that always remains. There wont seem to be peace at all as legacy from him will continue to come and live onto new gen.
Afton is barley associated with purple too and never needed to hack in electronics or recharge. So it's really odd for him now as Burntrap.
Even with Glichtrap because he manifests as a handmade Spring Bonnie suit and not the actual animatronic or even Springtrap. It fits Mimic because it wears handmade suits.
Afton might be literally gone, but he metaphorically can always come back.

@@koniorek007 William is neither of them. A character called the Mimic was revealed to be them and it's said that it's an AI that mimics both humans and animatronics.

It's amazing how the mimic is a 1:1 lineup of burntraps endoskeleton. Down to the animations as well.
That's not The Mimic, that's Burntrap's endo without the suit and without the flesh and with a glamrock endoskeleton head.

@@WltheredBonnie The Mimic is an Endo that observes and mimics both human behavior and animatronic performances and routines. It can also wear any animatronic suit.
It got infected with agony and is implied to have witnessed Afton as Spring Bonnie commit the MCI.
It later becomes a burnt, Rabbit Endo with claws that gets trapped in the FFPS location as the Mega Pizzaplex is built and kills a bunch of workers and teens there as well as controls nearby electronics.
Then it becomes a White Tiger animatronic head called the Storyteller within a baobab tree at the Mega Pizzaplex and gets connected to all of the animatronics, attractions, and games there. And it starts causing glitches and makes the animatronics act just like they do in Security Breach.

i dont think the mimic is burntrap since burntrap laughs in the game i dont hink the mimic is able to do that and the skull doesnt look feminine enough and the eyes are purple the same color as william in the minigames

@@bonnieelectric actually no, scraptrap being springtrap Is directly confirmed by afton himself “you may not recognize me at first but I assure you, it’s still me”, what you said is like saying withered Freddy isn’t Freddy because he doesn’t look exactly like he did in the first game, and if you read the books you’d find out that a teenage girl named Kelly hid inside a suit, which the mimic then put on, crushing her, and even if burntrap and mimic aren’t the same, it makes no sense as to why burntrap is never seen in ruin outside of that one drawing, hell even the blob makes a cameo in ruin, and the fact that we literally go into the rooms burntrap was in, and he’s missing, there’s no trace of him, the tales from the pizzaplex books explain a lot of things in the game that make no apparent sense at first, for example, how did afton survive the fire that Henry made? Simple, he didn’t, a teenage girl hid on one of the suits mimic wore, and mimic put it on, crushing her in the process, and her corpse then became attached to the mimic, and this isn’t the first time Fnaf has misdirected fans before, remember dream theory? it was really prevelant when Fnaf 4 came out, and while it did make sense at the time, when sister location was announced, the theory more or less crumbled to dust, though this wasn’t a retcon because dream theory was never actually proven to be fact even if there was a ton of evidence for it at the time, it was still just a theory at the end of the day, the fact that books literally say the mimic can change how it looks, and that the fact it went inside a suit with someone inside adequately explains why burntrap looks so wilidly different from the mimic we see in ruin,

No, Burntrap is not the Mimic.
Burntrap literally isn't present in ruin(since he doesn't exist),their models fit together perfectly. And glitchtrap is officially the mimic since tales is canon. So yes he is and this debate is over
