@@vinny8589 While it's definitely possible, I'd hold off on saying she (the Black Lagoon maid) introduced that mechanic. The Batman villain Penguin has been using various weaponized umbrellas decades before Black Lagoon existed, including a machine gun and shotgun variant.
Yea like, every time you drop for some fixed time navia automatically pulls her umbrella out to soften the drop but still faster than the normal glider and so slow that you at least don’t kill yourself due to fall dmg Would be pretty nice
Yeah Navia is an example of great design. She was a big character in the story for a while, she has a great voice actor, her outfit is amazing and her skillset is a blast. Very loveable character.
She turned out MUCH better than I expected, and I was honestly expecting a pretty decent character. So much fun to play, and her damage is great. Not sure if she "fixes" geo, but she's definitely a step in the right direction for it.
Geo needs a elemental reaction rework. Navia actually contributed to keeping GEO bad because they can't rework crystalyze into something else now that navia needs crystalyze. Unless they rework navia alongside geo. She doesn't help geo at all because just like any hoe character. If she was another element she would be way stronger.
IDC if she fixed Geo or not, all that matter is that She is a great character, You guys are acting like Asian parents having big expectations which undermines her Achievements
She's like the Kazuha for Geo element: a very well thought and functional character, that's versatile enough to fit in very different team comps and still perform great.
I'm actually amazed at how Hoyo designed these past few 5s and I seriously wish this will keep going. Navia doesn't only have high damage, she's also cheap to build. Yes, she didn't save Geo but her design opens up a brand-new approach to Geo units. It's a way to make Geo units more versatile and fit outside of Mono geo teams. And that's what really matters.

I'm hoping the next one can deal additional damage matching the element of the shard picked up, it would retroactively make Archaic Petra a choice actually worth considering.
She literally never had a chance of saving Geo unless she broke the game. People are asking way too much from a single character to save an entire element
not gonna lie the fact she changed what Crystallize reaction was for awhile, was the moment she became a high usage for it and Im loving her super high skill damage insanity. Update: I just crowned her skill and I might just triple crown her because I love her writing.
FR. It's already too late to change the Crystallize reactions, so it's better to just design characters who can take advantage of the reaction in some way. And IMO, I'd rather have more units like this than units that only fits in Gorou's mono geo teams.
She's my first 5* I'm by all means main navia for now on. And i know raisen is around the corner but I just liked her play style. Im low ar, any 5* dps will do the job. And as I have low er team wide, having a 5* where its demage is mostly done in the skill is a blessing. I also got sucro c1 and rosaria c2 and a candance with this banner.
I'm sure some players would disagree, but Raiden is not the most fun character to play, though she is very strong. Navia is both ver strong and very fun to play. (Maybe the most fun so far, in my opinion.) So you don't have to justify your choice!

The way her kit feels when played is a lot better than i imagined. Went ahead and pulled for her. She's already doing 60k plus dmg with random artifacts and unleveled talents.😮
It's really surprising how much damage it deals. Especially due to its built in mechanic where if all 11 bullets lands, it will deal up to 2x of its actual damage. It's a sudden burst of damage.
Not going to pull for her but I love her design and maybe in the future I'll come back to this video to build her. But rn, I need Raiden Ei for my team
After getting Ayato last week, I thought I would never get Navia but after 20 wishes she came home. I used old artifacts from different characters and I'm shocked that her damage is already great. I can't imagine if I already have her new artifact set. SHE'S AMAZING IN HER OWN RIGHT! She's fun to play and I'm just happy to get her.
Sevy, you are by far my favorite Genshin content creator! I only recently got into the game, and I love how concise and informative you are in comparison to other Genshin creators I've seen (which isn't to knock them, their style just isn't for me).
I agree with what you said, my boyfriend is actually new to genshin too and other guides would be way too much for a new player, Sevy's guides are very easy to understand even for a new player that's why she's the only person i told my boyfriend to follow 😂 coz i don't want to explain every little detail. Even when comparing her guide to other more in depth guide the point is still the same, the end product is basically the same so would would my boyfriend need to go through a whole mathematical equation for clicking an elemental skill 😂😂😂

Time and time again I try to escape Kuki Shinobu, but Navia is definitely going to be the latest case of my excessive dependence on the Arataki second in command. Lots of consistent off field element application, ATK buffs with a mililith set, and 24/7 healing after a couple of constellations. I see her and Navia’s ults matching together quite nicely too.
her dmg multiplier on full charged elemental skill is crazy. i have never seen a character in trial casually deal 150k dmg holy shit. her only gimmick is to gather the crystallized element and her skill cooldown
Furina and Navia on the same team makes me smile, it scratches the rts strategy itch of "Order the infantry to charge, but keep up the artillery fire!" quite nicely. *happy Death Korps of Krieg noises* for those that are wondering, that was a Warhammer 40k reference/joke.
I saved enough to get her as soon as her banner came out, and I’m so glad! I won my 50/50 and can just save for Itto and Xianyun now! I’ve only been able to hit about 47-58K damage with an improvised team and set!
Ah I love her playstyle so much. But it would be even better if she can get a different buff for each type of crystals she picked up, something like Wanderer has, pick up pyro shard will increase atk by 20%, cryo shard is 15% crit, electro is 30% ER, hydro is 1s cd reduction on her skill for example. It will implement a more sofisticate playstyle and team building. Also only the 1st crystal will get the buff, after that it's remain the same
Got both Navia and her weapon on the first day of the banner. She's still not fully built, only at Lvl70 with 6-7-7 talents and slapped in artifacts, but she's hitting enemies real good. Add the stacks and buffs from team comps to the formula, she can squeeze damage up to 90K skill damage.

I run her with Serpent spine, 2glad/2golden Team comp Navia-zhongli-xl-bennet Honestly, her team outperforms my mono geo itto who has godly husk + redhorn by quite a margin, not just a small one. It's also a VERY smooth rotation, and very easy to play. I also tried navia-ning-kokomi-xq It didnt work that well, but, it was good enough, maybe if i had yelan instead of kokomi it would be more comfortable. I don't have geo mc built, but I think he'd be way better than ning
I yolo pulled her and Im using two piece glad and two piece shima and its working pretty well so far with my current Furina, Bennett, Yelan and Navia team. I'm surprised to be hitting such high numbers even at level 40.
The fact, that she is so op and her shotgun attracted my attention towards her. Oh boy, I'm going to grind artifacts for her, so she can obliterate anything xD Btw, if she has a shotgun, imagine an edit with her with "angel with a shotgun" song, which would actually fit really really well with her.
Also, good solution to weak crystalize shield is for example high em second character, like ninguang, she would help to get the second buff from the new artifact set.
I legit thought I couldn’t get her because I had no primos and was to lazy to finish sumeru’s area of exploration but I ended up getting her at 31! I’m so happy 😊
I hadn't planned on pulling for her...but then I played her trial run, and yeah... I just wish it hadn't taken 60 pulls (79 pity) to get her. I've given her Deyha's blunt sword for now, but we'll see how things go with the event weapon. Now I have to farm her boss drops, at least everything else she needs is pretty easy to find.
Got her at 7th ten-pull, and even underleveled as she currently is and borrowing Ning's artis her skill does some stupid amounts of damage. Already loving how she fits in my Noelle-Furina team.
i'm planning on having her on the same slot as albedo, specially since i've been super annoyed at how recent abysses keep destroying albedo's flower, making him close to useless. have you tested them against one another yet?
@@GenshinYuppe I've been running her with Noelle, Furina, and Fischl in a quick swap team. With c6 Fischl and Furina's skills, Noelle generates a lot of shards for her with sweeping time. In turn, Navia's gunbrella generates a lot of Geo particles and, along with Fischl's particles, keeps the uptime of Sweeping Time at 100% (with 132 ER on my Noelle) even when Noelle is on Serpent Spine instead of Fav GS. Sacrificial weapons on both Navia and Fischl. It's a nice self-sustaining loop, and very good against the more boss-heavy Abyss floors.
Finally, a new Geo character after 2 years! While Geo is still the worst element in the game, I'm happy to see that she at least is a strong unit. I personally her as the 2nd best Geo unit after Zhong Li. Will be interesting to see Navia vs Itto comparisons, but team flexibility seems to be the biggest selling point she has over the stupid (but lovable) Oni. Her e skill hit 100k for me in the character trial after I picked up a crystal shield. Her e skill is at level 8 in the trials. She might beat him until we start adding cons

It's just that Noelle requires way too much investment, a mono-Geo team built around her (now with a stray Furina on top), plus setup for her to be competitive, and even then, she's hampered by a lack of energy regen and gets shut down hard by shields and Geo-immunities (with the latter being especially bad in mono-Geo, where no one else can pick up the slack). She's good, and most people know she's good, but few build her because there are easier and more immediately rewarding alternatives.
I just got her and slapped a 2pc sets of Glad and Petra. I ran out of resources so her lvl stopped at 59 and her talents at 4/4/4 I tried her in a Zhongli, Bennet, Xiangling team and I'm liking the dmg I see. I put Redhorn on her and her skill goes up to 100k
Since I first saw her in Fontaine teaser I saved up Primos. And went full blind into anything she really does. I first saw her kit when I first tried her in my game. And man I was completely blown away by Navia being shotgun user :3 Also I knew instantly, that she will be Noelle's best friend. And I hope Hoyo is not done with Geo (and Noelle). Make Geo (and Noelle) great again :D
@@xo_oblivion Pity that Hoyo really hates Noelle. You can easily see it on Poetry event. She received the best screentime she ever had in her whole game life. But she also got illogically cut from third day of it (Reason for no logic is that Jean knew about Noelle and Mika being busy on the event, she was the one who sent them there. Thus NO other duties should have arised for Noelle. Thus her "other duties" doesn't make any sense and Hoyo did it on purpose to make Mika shine, possibly to tell Noelle to "scram, you had enough." - I admit that is hyperbolic). I know I am pretty biased on this, sowwy if it feels too rough or too dumb for you. I still want to hope that the best of Noelle is yet about to be seen in quests and events :3
I pulled just to have another decent geo character, but I was blow away by how fun/cool her kit is. Much better design than other geo character imo, and less clunky than some recent kits. Damage is good too! She's crazy!

Thank you for your guide Sevy! I went ahead to watch this after I got Navia. I already have a pre-build for her which is MH set with r2 Pride in a Furina team and so happy these are okay on her. Never been this excited again since Alhaitham coz Navia has become the apple of my eye after I first saw her. I'm not sure if I'm gonna farm the new set for her coz the other artifact set is kinda meh (and giving me the Husk farming nightmare flashback lol). So happy with her damage and playstyle 😊
For weapon choices, how does the Inazuma craftable claymore do? It gives skill damage while also helping with ER issues for burst. So,is it a good option for Navia?

Honestly, her team outperforms my mono geo itto who has godly husk + redhorn by quite a margin, not just a small one. It's also a VERY smooth rotation, and very easy to play.
I also tried navia-ning-kokomi-xq
It didnt work that well, but, it was good enough, maybe if i had yelan instead of kokomi it would be more comfortable. I don't have geo mc built, but I think he'd be way better than ning

I yolo pulled her and Im using two piece glad and two piece shima and its working pretty well so far with my current Furina, Bennett, Yelan and Navia team. I'm surprised to be hitting such high numbers even at level 40.
The fact, that she is so op and her shotgun attracted my attention towards her. Oh boy, I'm going to grind artifacts for her, so she can obliterate anything xD
Btw, if she has a shotgun, imagine an edit with her with "angel with a shotgun" song, which would actually fit really really well with her.
Also, good solution to weak crystalize shield is for example high em second character, like ninguang, she would help to get the second buff from the new artifact set.
I love her so much going to be spending on long time on her. pulled her and Navia C1 Weapon R1. Might go for C3 if I can.

I legit thought I couldn’t get her because I had no primos and was to lazy to finish sumeru’s area of exploration but I ended up getting her at 31! I’m so happy 😊

I hadn't planned on pulling for her...but then I played her trial run, and yeah...
I just wish it hadn't taken 60 pulls (79 pity) to get her. I've given her Deyha's blunt sword for now, but we'll see how things go with the event weapon.
Now I have to farm her boss drops, at least everything else she needs is pretty easy to find.

Got her at 7th ten-pull, and even underleveled as she currently is and borrowing Ning's artis her skill does some stupid amounts of damage.

i'm planning on having her on the same slot as albedo, specially since i've been super annoyed at how recent abysses keep destroying albedo's flower, making him close to useless. have you tested them against one another yet?
@@GenshinYuppe I've been running her with Noelle, Furina, and Fischl in a quick swap team. With c6 Fischl and Furina's skills, Noelle generates a lot of shards for her with sweeping time. In turn, Navia's gunbrella generates a lot of Geo particles and, along with Fischl's particles, keeps the uptime of Sweeping Time at 100% (with 132 ER on my Noelle) even when Noelle is on Serpent Spine instead of Fav GS. Sacrificial weapons on both Navia and Fischl.
It's a nice self-sustaining loop, and very good against the more boss-heavy Abyss floors.

Finally, a new Geo character after 2 years!
While Geo is still the worst element in the game, I'm happy to see that she at least is a strong unit. I personally her as the 2nd best Geo unit after Zhong Li.
Will be interesting to see Navia vs Itto comparisons, but team flexibility seems to be the biggest selling point she has over the stupid (but lovable) Oni.

Her e skill hit 100k for me in the character trial after I picked up a crystal shield. Her e skill is at level 8 in the trials. She might beat him until we start adding cons

It's just that Noelle requires way too much investment, a mono-Geo team built around her (now with a stray Furina on top), plus setup for her to be competitive, and even then, she's hampered by a lack of energy regen and gets shut down hard by shields and Geo-immunities (with the latter being especially bad in mono-Geo, where no one else can pick up the slack).
She's good, and most people know she's good, but few build her because there are easier and more immediately rewarding alternatives.
I just got her and slapped a 2pc sets of Glad and Petra.
I ran out of resources so her lvl stopped at 59 and her talents at 4/4/4
I tried her in a Zhongli, Bennet, Xiangling team and I'm liking the dmg I see. I put Redhorn on her and her skill goes up to 100k
I feel lucky and unlucky at the same time pulling Navia at 20 pulls as a f2p player while watching this video 🙂😭
Since I first saw her in Fontaine teaser I saved up Primos. And went full blind into anything she really does. I first saw her kit when I first tried her in my game. And man I was completely blown away by Navia being shotgun user :3 Also I knew instantly, that she will be Noelle's best friend. And I hope Hoyo is not done with Geo (and Noelle). Make Geo (and Noelle) great again :D

@@xo_oblivion Pity that Hoyo really hates Noelle. You can easily see it on Poetry event. She received the best screentime she ever had in her whole game life. But she also got illogically cut from third day of it (Reason for no logic is that Jean knew about Noelle and Mika being busy on the event, she was the one who sent them there. Thus NO other duties should have arised for Noelle. Thus her "other duties" doesn't make any sense and Hoyo did it on purpose to make Mika shine, possibly to tell Noelle to "scram, you had enough." - I admit that is hyperbolic). I know I am pretty biased on this, sowwy if it feels too rough or too dumb for you. I still want to hope that the best of Noelle is yet about to be seen in quests and events :3

I pulled just to have another decent geo character, but I was blow away by how fun/cool her kit is. Much better design than other geo character imo, and less clunky than some recent kits. Damage is good too! She's crazy!

Thank you for your guide Sevy! I went ahead to watch this after I got Navia. I already have a pre-build for her which is MH set with r2 Pride in a Furina team and so happy these are okay on her. Never been this excited again since Alhaitham coz Navia has become the apple of my eye after I first saw her. I'm not sure if I'm gonna farm the new set for her coz the other artifact set is kinda meh (and giving me the Husk farming nightmare flashback lol). So happy with her damage and playstyle 😊

For weapon choices, how does the Inazuma craftable claymore do? It gives skill damage while also helping with ER issues for burst. So,is it a good option for Navia?
