    I like this approach. I started by scraping every last spec of RMC, then fracturing. When that started taking to long, I switched to immediately fracturing, disintegrating the largest chunk to fill my hopper, and then popping to the next. Three missions got me $240k in contracts and another $70k-ish in Construction Materials, which is pretty decent. I dig this approach of getting the quick RMC, fracturing, and running. Much more time & cash efficient with a bit of variety in gameplay. Nice work!

    One little trick I found: If you fill the hopper to a full 13 SCU the second time before loading the cargo bay to 24 SCU, and then fill the hopper to 13 SCU the 3rd time before heading back, there' will be a "hidden" box that is created and emptied from the hopper but is "blocked" by the crate on the conveyer belt. It's one more SCU to sell when you get back!

    Awesome video, this was very well put together. I had some store credit i used to grab a vulture last night, i put on some country and went salvaging, had a nice relaxing day after work.
    Now im a decoupled combat pilot, working towards a reclaimer, theres just something about it.

    This is an awesome guide, I bust up the 80ks until they stop spawning which is like 4 , then I'll hit a hh, takes about 40 mins to clear the hh with trawlers, make a mil an hour. Pro tip, don't repair while having scu in your hopper. It will disappear.
    2nd pro tip, if you're running out time on a hh, you can pickup a sanctioned salvage to clear your trespassing tag. When the security arrives they won't be hostile.

    Someone had a good tip and that was working with a friend with a larger cargo ship, fill the hopper and then transfer to the cargo ship once the hold is full, that way the cargo ship can stay at a safe location and the vulture can just keep grinding away.

  • @Bearded_Devil
    @Bearded_Devil Před 2 měsíci +1

    You make really good videos, I do have a suggestion regarding components for the vulture
    If you are scraping a larger vessel such as a hammerhead, the abrade is actually better at time versus profit.
    You will get approximately 70 standardized cargo units (S.C.U.) and take around 45 minutes. The trawler will get around 35 to 40 Scu and the cinch will get approximately 105. The vulture can hold a total of 39 SCU if stacked correctly (26 on grid and 13 in the queue).
    I figured I would throw some numbers out there for the minmaxing people like me.
    I love both mining and salvage gameplay, keep up the good videos

    me + alt, and RL friend tried scraping with Reclaimer today, it didnt end well, first got blown up by some one that likes to kill and run, second time, NPCs from those illegal HH cleanups still showed up after the contract was completed, my fault for leaving for a bathroom break at the time we knew they 'could' turn up (wasnt sure if they would still turn up after the contract ends, but they did), and that was after we fled a larger group of lNPCs while we were trying a first HH cleanup, bad day. we doing both in the Rec, RMC and CM, getting used to it before it gets rebalanced so CM isnt soooo OP
    personally i prefer it if players dont continually spam the contracts, one player can just spam and hog them all, should atleats crack the hull and disintegrate it, its fastest way to make money besides spamming the contacts cracking the hull and leaving, its annoying for someone that actually wants to salvages them when someone else just cracking the ship and grabbing next contract, preventing any others from getting them.

    What are the 2 things u added to the vulture in the beginning? What are they used for ?

    • @cyberg_war
      @cyberg_war  Před 18 dny +1

      I put on trawler modules. Its the scraper for hulls. They come standard on Reclaimers but you can put them on the vulture. Its the fastest one. Has the widest spread but isn't as efficient as the abrade or cinch scraper. The abrade and cinch will take a higher percentage of material in the same area but take much longer. Since I was rushing for credits and only taking a couple scu per ship, they are perfect. This tutorial is now outdated since 3.23 dropped and they redid salvaging contracts. Salvage is still king for credits but its not as lucrative now until you build up reputation with the mission givers.

    • @yamahamadness13
      @yamahamadness13 Před 18 dny +1

      Looks like running the abrade is by far the best for effecient and resources slightly small area but faster .. Was just looking on reddit and found a post with all the data

      I call Seraphim Station PO a lot or I call it Not PO. PO is short for Port Olisar. I meant Seraphim. Its just my org and myself call it Not PO in protest of them removing Olisar that it carries over to my videos sometimes.

      Yes, they are changing a lot with the economy. I have yet to test these new sets out. The days of making fast money are numbered. Still I managed to make about a million the first day so salvage is still king.

      @@cyberg_war would you still recommend someone buying the vulture to get their money up with this method or should you just stay free to pay and try other methods?

    • @cyberg_war
      @cyberg_war  Před 15 dny +1

      @@chrisgod1702 Salvage has changed in 3.23. Its still a great money maker but I haven't had time to test it yet. This method may be outdated now but you will still make good credits with a vulture. Its a road to buying other ships quickly. Its a good and reliable money maker. Star Citizen is always changing so salvage may become more important and profitable as the economy is released. If you enjoy salvage I say go for it. Its a good ship overall.

      Yes. Hull stripping is fine, fracturing is "broken" since it takes zero skill and is extremely fast. These clean up missions were made before fracturing was implemented and they were fine for hull stripping.
