I can't believe how fast you can go on that bike, crazy!
@@lukaszotarasiuk 25 is FAST on an enduro trail, with 35 mph sections considered to be just flat easy areas. 15mph or slower sections are more the norm and include challenging terrain!
I picked the wrong line and crashed into two trees in the first 4 minutes watching this ... LOL
This is the video one been looking for. Those trails look like the trails I'll be riding on, not a 6 ft wide fire road. Thanks for filming!
That is some impressive riding and crazy what the stock T7 will do. This didn't even have full dirt tires and was kicking butt. Pretty awesome riding with your family too.
I can’t even believe you rip that boat around so well! So awesome!
Nice. Ridden harder than 95% of T7s will ever be!
❌ Doubt
Considering I cracked the oilpan twice on my FZ09 treating it like a WR250R (Biggest regret trading but got a Kawasaki Ninja ZX14 for it)
Those trails look awesome, everything we have here is super overgrown!
You handle that thing like a boss too sir!
I will have to say, I have watch a few videos for the Tenere and it sounds really good. Nice job.
That’s some great riding. Need to see more videos on how capable this bike is. I see one in my future.
Damn! You kill it on that beast. Nice riding! I was going to get the Tenere. Decided on KLX 300 instead. Loving it so far.
very cool video, its fun watching good riders learning to use the big bikes offroad
Amazing how fast you can ride that T7. Great video by the way!
Woooooow. I'm absolutely impressed with your courage. Congratulations.
Crashes . . gets up, 3 sections later "waiting on you guys".
Jake, Man you are a mad man on the bike. I is so much fun watching you shred this bike. I have tried it on my Gen1 klr 650. Dumped so many times in the first hr. I was dead from being exhausted. Lol. Great video. Love it.
You're the man for doing in on the klr. I've ridden them both and this bike is far more agile in stock trim.
@@fastguysslowbikes that just shows what technology can do. The out dated klr fits this old man, but I would love to ride the Yamaha.
I rode the heck out of 250’s growing up & I really can’t believe how much I hate the sound of dirt bikes these days. That T7 has a much better sound. Killer skills brother.
Absolute madman! Was laughing out of joy the whole vid
Your wife is fast too! Nice video, looks like a lot of fun!
This may be the best t7 ad on the internet! Yamaha should be paying you.
Love seeing adv bikes being run like this. My buddy Adventurejeff269 here in Michigan runs his ktm 990 pretty well and on single track too!
Hey man...All I can say is, i d be VERY happy if I could ride as well as you. Cheers mate. Enjoy
Nice! Love the videos ... Man that dirt and single track looks epic! Would love to see a view
Point from another person following you throwing that big thing around!! Still month plus out waiting on mine to get here.. I have hopes of taking to a few of our local trails and races too! Lol
My wife was wearing her cam too behind me. I'll post that one up this weekend.
Fast Guys - Slow Bikes nice!! Since I have over a month to wait I need to live vicariously through all the CZcams videos...
awesome riding! your wife can rip too. Too much fun!
The only limit is the rider.
Great video 🤙🏻
I bet your dad is really proud that you turned out the way you did
Man u got lucky man i was messing around in withlacoochee forest and I got hammered by the rain the other day you ride like a beast
Love the intro!
I cannot believe that you ride that thing so hard at Croome in July. That place is so sandy and whooped . And must be hot as Hell in July. At least when you get on the 600 it will feel like a 125. Your Dad rips too. I bet your girl is going to get through the woods way faster on her new bike
Not many people will be able to tell how difficult that terrain is from the video.
Impressive what you can do on a tenere. Cant wait to get one
The wife goes hard too.
Super Top Ride !!!! Apart Pol Tarres I never seen nothing like that before Congratulations !!!!!
Nice to see someone actually using the bike to the full.
You are a beast man ... nice riding
That's impressive with the stock tires. I just took my tenere offroading for the first time and I totally sucked at it. I had no grip at all with the stock tires, even on dry terrain.
Hi, good video. How often does the Tenere get this kind of usage!! Is it a one off to see how it copes or can it take it regularly without destroying it?
It’s a good sized bike to cope with it all , including a big amount of tarmac miles.
Amazing skills riding with great riders on true dirt bikes nearly half the weight of the T7. Curious what your competition(?) background is and also your size and weight?
Seen ~30 vids on this bike and yours is the best/most impressive!
Tenere dude can ride, wow!!! Can't imagine how tiring that must be!
T 700 a bike for everything 👍
Keeping up with your he dirt bike is badass
Love it 😍
Those indicators can be replaced with Click'N'Ride insertable LEDs. You remove them when in the dirt and replace them when going on the street.
Great skill getting that bike working on single track!
I paid for the five-year Yamaha warranty so they are going to replace them. I think they redesigned them with a bigger back plate.
@@fastguysslowbikes May I ask, how much was the 5 year warranty? Does it include the entire bike or only major components?
Amazing riding!
Now that was some ridin at its finest 💯🙏🏽❤️🤍🖤🏍️💨
Not dure what is more impressive his riding skills or the fact that that big old T7 can hang!!
Track is hard good ride 👍
Some Nice riding, man🤙
Hey man, over all has the bike held up well thus far? How many miles do you have on it and what riding do you do most? Looking to get a t7 and use it as a everything bike. I don’t race anymore so I think it will fit well. May be an odd question, but how is the placement of the foot pegs? Are they slightly farther forward then a normal dirt bike?
A beautiful wife that rides dirt bikes? You hit the jackpot!
Mirrors on, you're a madman! :-D
amazing terrain for the t7
Nice riding!
My 2021 Ténéré 700 is the bike that will be taking me through all of America all the way to the tip of Argentina and then back. Such an amazing bike. I only have some issues with how snappy the throttle response is. But this is my first off roading bike, may be it's just a off roading bike type of thing. It also doesn't take much for the front brakes to grab hard and send the front diving down during very tight spaces in traffic. Even while pulling the lever with just one finger. Need to get used to both of those things. And I need a much better seat. The stock seat is good for short trips, but long trips is a killer on my bum. Other than that it is a great bike. I suppose I just need to adjust to the way off roading bikes handle compared to 750cc to 1100cc sport bikes.
Love my FZ-07. Love a WR250. WR450 is sick but can't put em on the street. It'll hang with a FZ though.
I want a TW200 but too outdated and not up to do the riding I want.
Didn't really know the Tenere existed and it's EXACTLY what I'm looking for.
If I were buying a new bike hell yes. But I managed an '12 Tiger800 for $3,500 in near-mint condition so I won't be doing anything quite like that especially since its the road version. Oh well, time to buy yet another bike next year for pure dirt LOL. What tires you running? Great work out there.
It's good to know the T7 can handle single track, you're proved it, and on stock dual sport tires! Well done. Did you take out much psi?
I've been trying to decide if the T7 can replace my DRZ and V-Strom. Think this video might've convinced me.
Unless you're doing a bunch of slow speed and tight turning stuff on the DRZ, it can.
Hi, can you tell about the front suspension during your ride ? Is it prepared or stock ? I try the T7 some days ago and I found the fork way to soft
Thanks for your video, nice ride
What do you think about XR 400R, better then XR650L OR 600R ??
How do you find the stressed frame?
Where is it, please? Cool spot!
Love these Tenere videos. It will be interesting to see how the bike does with a tire change to something a bit more off road oriented.
I love seeing videos like this that run counter to folks on ADVrider that say you can only ride offroad on a 210lbs bike. They keep waiting for some magical 100hp, 250lbs wet, $10,000 bike that is never coming. Kudos for actually riding what exists!
@@fastguysslowbikes wuuuut? Why did they ban you? Is it because you actually ride motorcycles? 😄
I have a problem with mods that get on power trips.
Once I posted in the classified section that I was seeking it trade my vfr for a 650l. I did not put an exact price because I was willing to trade up or down to any bike. They were deleting my ad because the rules say must have a price.
So of course I told the mods how stupid that was.
A question, have you ridden that KTSqvarna 690 Enduro? The Tenere is always being compared with the 790 Enduro by all the magazines, but isn't the real competitor the 690? I mean they have similar power outputs and are both very off road oriented.
Haven't ridden either but the tenere is much more outfitted (stock) for long-distance than the 701/690, from an equipment/service intervals/reliability standpoint.
I have 690. Cant compare. 690 is 150kg wet. Tenere 204kg. 690 is more like a big bore dirt bike but unreliable. Will sell a thing and get tenere :)
Nice to see what can be done with a stock T7, also great riding skills. How do you adjust your riding style between a cross and adventure bike? I saw some of the guys siting more than usual whereas some adventure riders have "learned" to stand all the time. How do you decide it? Also, if you are under 80kg, the suspension should be fine. As you are riding a demanding terrain, maybe you should get the Nylon M6 screws to replace both the OEM steel screws on the outside of the lower front fender mountings. They will mitigate the damage if you should hit something.
I am around 170lb. The suspension is far too soft for any aggressive riding.
@@fastguysslowbikes Rally Raid has some nice solutions for the T7, check out the MAD Dirtbike channel, they have all modified their 3 T7s.
Monster 230kg 700cc twin without any electronics, are you kidding me! Now I know, whole family is crack! But you guys are totally awesome!👍😑☺️
@@0xsergy what does that even mean? Yamaha can't "claim" any number as the weight of the bike. It is 204 kg fully fuelled.
Is the bike stock ? Unreal riding 😎
Man I'm truly impressed, I couldn't imagine running a bike like that through that. What is that bike considered? Is it kind of an adventure bike?
Nice bike 👍👍
'waiting on you guys' lmao
Sorry about my dictation software that was misspelled looks awful I just mean I think that you got a lot of talent and riding a bike like that through the woods well like I said you got a lot more guts than I do man but keep up the good work
Great ride. How tall are you?
Noob Q: I assume you’re using 1 or 2 fingers on the clutch. On the T7, is the clutch fully disengaged when the lever is pulled in and touching your ring and pinky finger? Thanks
My grip on the left side is based on a lot of things. In general I prefer to move the lever outwards enough to grip with my first finger in the hump of the clutch lever and the 3 other fingers on the actual lever. This allows me to pull the lever all the way on and not smash a finger. On bikes with full wrap hand guards that isn't possible usually without trimming the end of the lever.
Since this bike is mostly for the street I'm not trimming and levers.
And I don't think I can answer exactly what fingers I'm using on this ride. I'll pay more attention next time I ride it off road and get back to you.
Thank you very much for a thorough answer - looking forward for the update.
Crazy good riding by the way. Goals!
Is it stock or you changed sth?
You're so fast!
Wow you had more guts than I would ever have fast guy that's 700 is a street bike you know in my mind okay just in my mind the sellers lean forward and that's all it's got going for it stock and it's it looks like to me it's scary but those trees being that close I love your style man but sometimes you know you just can't go that route that's going to hurt a guy that's got so much potential
I'd like to think that the Tenere is very impressive, but I think you could keep up on a HD Electra Glide.
Similar experience here mate, I’m able to pretty much keep up with my buddies in their enduros and ride the same pace save for a few big hits as on my enduro
It's a great bike for what it was designed for but do you really intend to ride the T7 as your primary off-road bike? It’s still 450lbs.
insane!
Fantastic rider T7 is capable bike
Wow 🤩, you know how to ride for sure ! Unbelievable how fast you can ride big bikes thru sandy and narrow trails ! Well done buddy !
I’m a big fan of your videos !
My question is : which bike is easier to ride between the XR 650 L ( I’ve got an 2014 model myself ) and the Tenere 700 ?
I guess I’ve got my answer 🙌🏻. I’m from France 🇫🇷 and raced only once in Florida ( Melbourne GNCC ) at the same time with David Knight and Travis Pastrana , you definitely could follow those guys 🥂!
@@cyrilfrederico5526 I could possibly keep up with TP. But I couldn't stay with knighter unless I tied a rope to him.
The do anything go anywhere take 2k rides......motorcycle. Impressive.
Hes riding that t7 fast as I could my ktm lol
Maybe with different tyres you would have more fun? But great trails and video, keep them coming.
What is it with you people and tires?
you think it would be fun to buy a different set of tires for this bike just to ride it at croom once or twice? Would it be fun to sweat my ass off changing those tires? Changing them back? Scratching my brand new rims?
@@fastguysslowbikes LOL, did not know that tires are such a painfull topic for you. Its just that in the last 3 videos, you used T7 like a dirtbike. If this is the plan for your future rides, a little more Off-Road tires would be better for grip and control. If not, then the Pirelli Scorpion are good enough as seen in your video and for tarmac. Maybe you had a bad day, thank you for replying but maybe less attitude next time. It was a simple sincere question.
It's a question that gets asked 150 times per video. People are obsessed. And it's an INSULTING question. By telling me that I would get better or have more fun with different tires, you're telling me that I wasn't doing a good enough job with the equipment on there.
And sure my videos have been off road, but that doesn't mean I'm not riding the bike daily on the street.
@@fastguysslowbikes Do you comprehend my comments? See the post below, I wrote great riding skills, here I wrote great trails and video, keep them coming. Are these not compliments? I never explicitly communicated that you are not doing a good job. Contrary, seeing all the other lighter bikes with fat off-road tires it was clear you were at a disadvantage and you still did great. I know that the Pirelli are good but also not that good. Last, I subscribed to your channel a couple of days ago, hence I did not know people where asking in the hundreds about your tires, you don’t even have that many comments. All I can tell you is, be happy that your community is engaging you and respect their questions. Unless you don’t want to build up your community, then turn off comments or tell people in your video, don’t ask me about this and that.
@@restless_soulism so you thought "this guy is a very skilled rider. I better give him tire advice"?
oof gnarly!

She has a bada** bike for sure.nice 700
Stock tires too??????
Hey Jake, we gonna get to see you run that fx maybe?
Oh for sure. I rode it already at Tampa MX. It's the best dirt bike I've ever ridden. I'm going to hit the payments on the t7 hard and buy an fx for myself as soon as it's paid off.

😍
Wow, taking a 700 through there
where is this... I mean, I need to go.
The sole fact that you can even think of going together with dirtbikes means something to me.
