“You don’t know me, but you keep robbing me!”
Something about this entrance and this scene made me want Cornwall to be the main antagonist right away
@kaydens6964 Imagine not knowing that Cornwall put the citizens of Annesburg to death in his oil mines, was indirectly responsible for the army's war against the Wapiti Indians, and supported the military dictatorship of Alberto Fussar.
@@snnnaaaaaakeeeee4470 From this line of reasoning, Arthur and the gang killed numerous laws just doing their jobs. They are actual criminals.
The soundtrack for this game is awesome
Anyone else love how when John gets free, the first thing he does is turns around towards the guy who was holding him, grabs his gun, then turns to shoot the guy holding Strauss
Dutch saying "to your good health" then Arthur developing Tuberculosis, damn
Cornwall is like Andrew Carnegie, John Rockefeller, and Vanderbilt all in one lol.
The guard holding John hostage looks like Zacky Vengeance from Avenged Sevenfold!
Idk man, Carnegie was actually a really good person. Before he died, he gave a giant chunk of wealth to charities, schools, and other helpful organizations. Vanderbilt and Rockefeller were robber barons though
@@alexm.alvarez528 kind of? He was probably the most ethical of the gilded age monopolists and at least tried to improve the lives of the working class, but was still ruthless in acquisitions and crushed unions. He was a complex figure, and it’s hard to really measure how moral he was based on his often contradictory actions.
Idk if a man is sick and tired of being robbed is villainous 😂
Rubensmovie Yup. He’s a villain because he is the embodiment of the ‘robber barons’ of the time period. A scumbag who took advantage of a lack of regulation to abuse his employees, destroy communities and the environment, and drive any fair competition into the ground through underhanded means. Does that justify the gang’s actions? Not necessarily, but neither should we feel bad for him when he finally gets put in the ground.
Yet you’ll still find people who defend him, either because they have a vested interest in not making the parasitically excessive rich look bad, or they just like sucking the dicks of those who do.
It’s like Jeff Bezos getting robbed $30,000 ($1 in 1899 = ~$30 in 2019) of his billions of dollars and sending every cop in the LAPD to murder you. Cornwall is definitely a villain
Did you not pay attention to the story? He paid the army to pretty much destroy the Wapiti tribe and stole their land, and for absolutely no reason too considering they found little to no oil on their land after all.
2:24 you can see arthur glancing like he's preparing to use his deadeye
YOU DONT KNOW ME! BUT YOU KEEP ROBBING ME!
Me: Oh really I am glad you are saying that bcs the sheriff office is a few yards away from your white fucking mustache. And I don't think he is gonna believe that bcs you got my men keeping as hostage.
Some very subtle foreshadowing here about the fates of both Dutch and Arthur. - Dutch says "nothing like talking with Strauss to make you wanna blow your brains out" and then toasts to Arthur's "good health". Dutch's life ends with him killing himself (though he doesn't shoot himself, admittedly) and Arthur's life ends with him being diagnosed with TB
@@eggboy26 I felt disgusted doing Strauss' mission. Collecting a debt on a single mother? Fukk all that.
Love how Dutch starts bullshitting them lol. Nobody wants to be the messiah lolol
Cornwall is the perfect representation of The Dark Side of Ultra-Capitalism and Imperialism in a Video Game.
Gore4ever FulciLives you kill communists in almost every single first person shooter
Nope. That would be Dutch. Vindictive little man always hungry for more.
Back when Dutch was actually a good guy
Dutch was always a bad person. He hid it behind the pretense of being a good guy. He treated Hosea badly. They're supposed to be partners, but he certainly doesn't treat him like one. He doesn't listen to him, he yelled at him when he was coughing or in pain, and he made him sleep on the cold, hard, dirty ground. He even openly ignored him in Colter, in front of the other men, and rode off when he tries to stop him from robbing Cornwall's train. Micah isn't the ultimate villain of the game. Dutch is. If Arthur was still healthy, he probably would have sided with him and gave the impression off that he cared. In Jack, he most likely wanted him to become an outlaw. HOSEA didn't. But that doesn't mean the same for Dutch. He's the same as Colm O'Driscoll but hid it behind working with a community and so-called family until the mask came off and he really revealed himself.
Isn't the sheriff's station like, around the corner from that saloon? Were they on their lunch break?
Deputy:sheriff there’s a shootout going on out there show we handle it(cocks gun)
Sheriff: nah Cornwalls men got it, I don’t know about u son but I wanna live.
Tbh if I was the sheriff and I saw a massive shootout between 4 outlaws and dozens of corporate goons (and that the outlaws were managing to kill every single one of them) I'd probably stay out of it as well lol
Malloys’ a schiesty piece of shit in his own way and with his own skeletons in the closet. He murders a woman he’s been having an affair with to keep her from going public.
Love the music when the shooting starts.
I think you shot the wrong person at 2:58
That music really sets the tone.
So are the scars on john's face are from wolves or because he fell of his horse and smashed his face against the rocks
veLOcity_17 the scars are a reference to Red Dead Revolver, because the cover art of that game features a character with the same scars as John
@@ZerodragYT Huh I'm pretty sure it's cause John has those scars in rdr1 and it's to explain how he got them
Man that toast Dutch makes with Arthur hits different after your first play through…
does anyone know what song is playing when he shoots?
What gun was that on the floor highlighted in the radar?
I don't know if being mad about being robbed again and again and again is exactly villianous
Exactly he’s a businessman trying to make his way in the world and these men keep on robbing him. Rightfully so he’s pissed.
I like the song. I call it the "all hell breaks loose" song
Who else thought Dutch was pulling a Ricky from Trailer Park Boys with that mistaken identity 🤣🤣
I still see Micah Bell as the RDR2 version of Devon Weston rather than Leviticus Cornwall
What’s the name of the soundtrack
Dutch has plans.
Soundtrack name??
Evil Version of Uncle
I am the best villain in the whole game
@@olddogmaster6643 It makes sense a gang of outlaws has a few people that don't like them, especially the FBI. Micah was a piece of shit, but he was a well-written piece of shit so I admired how much I hated him.
Cornwall is army men who have been
Okay but why do all these quests leave me having to pay off a gd bounty every time?? I'm trying to play with the highest honor I can get but then these quests be making me kill a bunch of mofos and it's real frustrating.
Thats the entire point of red dead redemption 2 and the song "unshaken", buddy
@@gaelvega9436 But in most of mission killing don't give you bad honour.
Nothing cracks me up more than wimps trying to act hard to their future killers. Which is a surprisingly common theme in this game. Looking at you Ross
I am going to a wedding in like 10 minutes and my brothers said I look like Leviticus Cornwall 💀
rockefeller flashbacks
I can't get past this part I'm doing what it tells me to do but I can't draw! Is this mission bugged?
I almost smashed my controller because I got so frustrated with the poorly explained instructions. I guess I can't progress until I figure this out cause I don't skip checkpoints
@charlie mcvicar you have to change the third person settings from Standard to Alternative that's it fam
I know I’m late but very slowly press RT until you see the circle filling and then keep it there until it’s full. Then hold RT all the way to draw. You can quick draw in free roam too if you want to practice it
When you draw you press R2 or RT lightly, as in pulling it halfway, not connecting with the entire trigger, but halfway. Then when the meter fills up you pull the trigger fully, and will have some extra deadeye time.
Cornwall: Get out here! Get out here now!
Milton: Get out here! Get out here now!
I just realized this...
An both had 2 hostages, and both where in a town and ended with a shoot out.
VAN DER LINDE!
I love how Cornwall shot up a town like that wouldn't get him arrested, rich or not.
Unfortunately rich people can get away with only a slap on the wrist for worse nowadays
Are they just shooting Cornwalls men?
I thought they were also shooting the townsfolk as well
Mr Cornwall is men Mr milton
You don't know me but you keep robbing me my name is leviticus cornwall
ZUCKERBERG! You don't know but you keep robing me
I like his name
1:13 to your good health 😅
Funny cause the previous mission was literally the one where he caught TB from Mr Downes
What mission is this ?
I SAID STOP ROBBING ME
Cornwall is killer dutch
Yeah but Leviticus drip
Evil Jeff Bezos.
Hello
how is this console can get 60 FPS 😂
man that draw was terrible lmao.
Am I the only one who noticed that this guy didn't seem to play well? My theory is that he had to have been doing free aim. It was weird to watch
Villanous, lmao, the guy’s just rich
That Indian tribe originally lived where his oilfield built. With the help of government and private army tribe forcefully relocated in the mountains. But of course that doesn't really justify for Van Der Lind gang to constantly rob him. As much as Dutch excuses Corwall's greedy actions for robbing him, it's clear by the end of the game that Dutch is just hate people in positions of power and want to hurt them to feel himself powerful.
he was not just rich
the van delin gang was bad but cornwall is worse he had more blood on his hand more than all gang combine
This guy ain't even the bad guy. You just robbed him and I understand why he's so pissed. Sure he's an business man who gets dirty with his business, but you robbed him with no reason but money.
Ah yes, because putting the citizens of Annesburg to death in his oil mines is not a sign of being a bad person. Being indirectly responsible for the army's war against the Wapiti Indians is not a sign of being a bad person. Supportting the military dictatorship of Alberto Fussar is not a sign of being a bad person.
@snnnaaaaaakeeeee4470 bad person, but not the villain. the gang robbed him, so to call him a villain isn't right, but he's certainly not an angel. also, why so snarky my guy, you live in annesburg or something?
This is a terrible playthrough by the player
Cornwall wasn’t a villain. He was a victim
Ah yes, victim of burning down a competitor oil well, going to war with the natives, and possibly burning down limpany. He was robed, yes, but he also has tons of innocent blood on his hands, he’s like Angelo Brontë
I am archibald smith
Cornwall was a badass for coming himself there and telling dutch to stop
Would've been better if he did the fighting himself instead of leaving his cronies to do it themselves.
@Straight Busta Colonel favours was itching forba war. Reason why he keeps pushing the natives to start won. To earn a reputation
Yet that’s what got him killed later on
Patricio Perez dutch was the one who confronted him in van horn
