- In this vlog Lexi and Brighton go shopping with friends, and Khyl and Michelle are interviewed on the Nitty Gritty podcast. Michelle gets called into the school principal office. We talk about Lexi's anxiety. Also, Michelle's laptop was stolen, so we call the police.

Anxiety is so hard. Michelle you’re doing an incredible job trying to support her through it rather than forcing her into the stuff that is causing the anxiety. At some point she will overcome it, and with your amazing support she will get there sooner than you think!

And Lexi you rock and I think you are strong and beautiful so for all your wonderful kids! And you are totally able to get threw this anxiety. @@shumways Thank you so much for replying back!! I hope everything is getting better! I have always suffered from anxiety and its not fun. One thing that helps is when ever you feel stressed just close your eyes for like 5 seconds and relax it really helps! also there is an app you can get and its called breathe kids it helps a lot too :)
I have anxiety too. I have a stress ball so that I can calm myself. Its hard to get over but I really do take deep breathes.
I have terrible anxiety for PE and I have a loving support group that is always there for me and most of all I have a amazing school counselor so Lexi if you ever feel really anxious about something the best way to control it is with great friends which I know you have because you are such an amazing person

I have severe anxiety and it's really hard to control. I dance, and before competition I always freak out and it's nice to have a youtuber to also go through it because I look up to the Shumway girls!

I know how Lexi feels. Homeschooling would be okay, but eventually she will have to go back to school, and her anxiety will come back worse. I recommend that during a test, Lexi takes it in a different room that nobody, but a teacher/assistant is in. It had helped me majorly. I also recommend a diffuser. They are really cool, and they can help with your cold, stress, and sleep. Take an easy. Please don’t be too hard on yourself. Your body feels when you are too hard on yourself, and that also builds up stress. Don’t let her break, because when someone who has anxiety breaks, they are never the same. ♥️♥️♥️

I think 8.45 is late for brighton and even lexi to be up. Defo think the new plan is good, headaches can come from lack of sleep (which can also cause anxiety and lack of motivation). Hope it works out :)

Thanks for these fun videos, I live in Washington state only 5 minutes from the hospital where the coronavirus hit and killed 11 people and its rising every day, I'm a very high risk patient due to my 8 autoimmune diseases, my Doctors are all inside the Hospital so I can't even see them right now, I'm staying home to be safe, but it's been nice to watch you guys and laugh right now thanks.
Lexi, I’m around the same age as you and sometimes I have anxiety about school and I don’t want to go but I get through it which doesn’t go very well and I want you to know it’s all ok and Heavenly Father will be with you the whole time you at school!

When I was in school there were times I hated it. Mostly middle and high school because one girl bullyed me really bad From 6th grade all the way to 12th grade. I literally went home bawling on the bus in 6th grade. In fact my bus driver was so concerned about me she hugged me. And my mom picked me up from my bus stop and the bus driver told my mom I had a really bad day at school and I was very sad on the bus. This was 6th grade. Like I said the same girl tortured me so much Tell 12th grade I even tried to be her friend and be so nice. She was awful to me. She Called me stupid
she said nobody liked me
She called me fat
Ugly
And I was skinny in middle school
I noticed a big change in my weight my junior year

Mom you need to be tougher cant let the kids control you. Like at the end where Taylor's was hesitant I get it Especially being a teenager. I have anxiety too though, and I’ve never missed school because of school- anxiety. My mom tells me that missing school will not help and the year will go by fast. She is doing the best for me. Please don’t let your daughter miss school, oh my gosh especially in middle school. it won’t make anything better because she will have to worry AND she then she will have extra homework and have to catch up. Not a good idea...

I am around Lexi’s age and I reclently concurred anxiety It is hard and can be challenging (espically when you have panic attacks) but I know she will get through it my sChool counselor helped me a lot you might want to see if her school has one
