There are various reasons but I think it’s mainly these too 1. Hybe is known for not giving vocalist consistent training which causes them to regress 2. She’s more comfortable with a higher register than a lower one, which makes her more comfortable with high notes rather than deep tones
they didn't plan the choreo well in coachella. they were tired. they should have lowered the intensity of the dance and the person who sings should stop doing lot of movements when singing. they didn't do that. and also we couldn't even hear the backtrack. it was so low. so their vocal cracks and off pitch moments were clearly audible. you need the backtrack to hide these mistakes. that's how every kpop live performance is done. they solved these mistakes in week 2. that's why in week 2 people accused them for lip syncing. people couldn't believe the change. it's unfortunate. Yunjin and chaewon are 2 of the best technical singers in 4th gen. you can check yunjin's "i have nothing" cover on youtube. that is a pre debut cover with raw vocals without any production. this is why we defend her from criticisms. it's sad to hear that people accusing yunjin and chaewon cannot sing. Other 3 members are not singers obviously. But they have improved a lot compared to coachella now. They did well in recent performances, specially kazuha.
@@Usery5439 i'm not sure if she is good technique-wise, but eunchae seems to be pretty stable/a bit more consistent vocally than the other two. however it looks like she struggles with her stamina and low notes (evident in smart era). for kazuha, it was pretty apparent they pushed her out before she was ready (the fearless and antifragile encores), so i think all she really needed was more time and experience (she surprised me in their recent gayo daejun performance!). and for sakura, her voice appears to be quite nasally and trembles easily, i'm not sure if that's natural for her or comes from some form of anxiety, but she does often looks pretty nervous during her parts when singing, which is unfortunate (but i do wonder why it seems japanese idols often have pretty strong nasal tone while singing? ex: moka, momo, sakura, etc). i think what would improve her singing the most is increasing her confidence. all in all, they do seem to be progressing, i'm happy for them.

@@Usery5439 i'm not sure if she is good technique-wise, but eunchae seems to be pretty stable/a bit more consistent vocally than the other two. however it looks like she struggles with her stamina and low notes (evident in smart era). for kazuha, it was pretty apparent they pushed her out before she was ready (the fearless and antifragile encores), so i think all she really needed was more time and experience (she surprised me in their recent gayo daejun performance!). and for sakura, her voice appears to be quite nasally and trembles easily, i'm not sure if that's natural for her or comes from some form of anxiety, but she does often looks pretty nervous during her parts when singing, which is unfortunate (but i do wonder why it seems japanese idols often have pretty strong nasal tone while singing? ex: moka, momo, sakura, etc). i think what would improve her singing the most is increasing her confidence. all in all, they do seem to be progressing, i'm happy for them.
