Kaya is a better American citizen than a lot of people that I know. His story should be watched by a lot of people that take it for granted that they are a U.S. citizen. They don't know what they have. What's bad is they would not fight to keep it if there would be a time where we would have to defend it with our lives. I hear people say they would leave if that were to happen. I don't understand the idea of leaving, I would fight to the end to protect this country. I believe that if you were to leave if that were to happen you should not be able to come back to enjoy what we have. There's something brewing in this world that if it happens we will all have to stand up and fight. I hope it never happens. There are people in this world that don't like what we have and would want to take that away from us. Let's hope we don't have to make them understand what it is to be an American!

It's awesome to hear a story from a legal immigrant who came to the United States legally and how much they appreciate this country and our freedoms. I have a friend who is now in his 80's that immigrated from Cuba. He and his family came into the U.S illegally but then got their citizenship and he is the same way. To hear Kaya and my friend tell the stories of them becoming citizens makes me appreciate being born in the USA. Great story and great guy. Now I am off to buy a SAR.

Fast forward after receiving the prize I took to the range and i was blown away by how it shot and performed. I am now a believer of SAR and it has become my bedside gun because of how much i trust it now.

I am around the same age and also from Turkey, now living abroad just like Erdal. I had the exact same feelings he had about moving abroad and living the western lifestyle too! Sweet 90s :) I remember joining chatrooms online just to chat with people from the USA and see how it is like to be one of them. I mean I am talking about the year 1999-2000 here. However when 9/11 happened my American dream was crushed into pieces. I knew that the world would not be the same. I was even ghosted by a chat friend from Georgia, Savannah. So, I stopped chasing that dream and carried on with my life but I always made friends with people visiting from abroad just because I liked it so much. One day I met a german guy and we became real friends. He resparked my vision again and this time I made it!
I know that there are many people like me and like Kaya who desire to change their life and integrate fully. However, the immigration policies are a bit weird. "The good ones" are mostly being turned down by bureaucracy and whatnot while the problematic ones are being taken in as residents. Maybe it's because the "western minded" immigrants are too correct and hesitate trying illegal ways of moving...

As a future English teacher, I'm not very fluent in English of course but besides the story of this beautiful countryman of ours, the fluency of his speaking amazed me.
Cuz we are taught like "You will never speak like a native speaks cuz you were not born in that country."
As far as i know from his other videos or interviews, he did not know English before he moved to U.S. So it gives me hope to improve my English if one day i will go to another country.
And btw i did not know that there was an interview with him in English so it's very good to see that.
