A man who deserves the respect of all of us !!
He deserves admiration and support !
He preserves the young fish generations for our young generation! A real role model! Thanks :)
Which "environment protection" label is he promoting to advise consumers when buying fish?
This man is a hero.

What a disgrace that the local government isn't on his side. This guy is a hero and every person who works against him should be ashamed of themselves.
That man deserve a medal, a grant to continue his work that must be developed into an international program ! Well done sir !!
We need more brave people like Paolo!
When the system fails, righteous men will rise up
Not at all. To late.
there are OTHER fishes much bigger
Legend, fair play to him, fantastic idea.
Same issue in UK, Maggie Thatcher got rid of inshore fishing ban to allow for a free for all ... the damage is massive, but there is talk of reintroducing the ban.
Amazing. What an example. May God bless him and keep him safe.
This is absolutely.....BRILLIANT! Think about it, yall, not only is he helping the environment & saving fish stocks, he is also promoting art & is providing future archeologists PERFECT artifacts for their work! Hundreds of years from now, (if we are still around), if we have succeeded in the climate fight, our successors will write books about it & these sculptures will be a part of that story, especially if they are brought up to the surface & put on display in a climate change museum in the future. Maybe even Rome or Venice. I LOVE THIS! 🥰

" You have to keep on going " 💪 🥇 Thank You
Thank U so so very much
Gods Love and Strength to you and your beloved Community to Save this precious ecosystem 🙏🏼😇🐡🐟🌊❤️
It's time for national underwater parks.
Art installations and artificial reefs are a great idea
Like the way he added a negative into the illegal Fishermens system without direct conflict. It makes them not want to do it
This summer i spent 10 days in the wonderful Isola D'Elba, just a few kms off the coast of Tuscany in Italy. It's a protected area of the sea, and there were tons of fishs literally everywhere when i dived. But so many parts of the mediterranean, the red sea and the atlantic were i dived were completely empty, as all the fishs had been taken. Much more should be done to protect the sea, and we should try to only eat farmed fish, not the wild ones.
Farmed fish are usually fed wild caught "bait" fish so farming doesn't necessarily solve the problem. Wild caught fish can be sustainable. As a general rule of thumb, if its from a small scale fishery and locally caught it is more likely to be sustainable than not!
good guy .. go for it .. trawlers ought to be illegal everywhere
What a great guy fighting the good fight fearlessly. Really impressive
Way to go! I salute you, Sir!
This man should be given the Nobel Prize.
Swedes, take note! Stop the Norwegians from trawling all our herring in our waters!
How do we support this man n this effort?
Forza signor Paolo❣We should copy-spread that idea all along our coasts🌍
Thank you!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Nobility. Integrity. Thank you for covering this.
Paolo Fanciulli is a hero. Congratulations from an Argentinian, Paolo!
Good man.
Illegal fishing should be regulated more
thats like saying crimes should be illegal…
BRAVO!
Great Work Paolo
Ingenious
Why are we not funding this man!??!
Good on this guy!!!!
Trawl nets and dynamite have completely destroyed the sea in Greece, too
The consumer has the most important word: Do not buy industrial fishing products.
Bravo Paolo!
Good on you Paulo
Bravo.
big marble blocks seems bit of a waste? maybe these are the unusable pieces.
💯🥰 Paolo Fanciulli🤩❤
Forza, Paulo!
This guy is from toscana
Hero!
Not all heroes wear capes.
He should cooperate with
Sea Shepherd !
Or run Italy.
No fish in the sea eventually no humans on earth . 🐟🌏🌎
👍👍👍👍🏆🏆
Please keep fighting. The CCP is hoping you will fail and all of Mediterranean will be their fishery. Also, the big ships do not care about the future of the Mediterranean, only profits now.
And the authorities are on the side of the illegal fishing? Corruption is endemic. Tough break.
More than of their side they don't do nothing to solve the problem.
@@alessandrom7181 Mob culture, they likely bought the cops.
God bless Italy, this man may be nuts, I think he has the right intentions ✝️
His statues need to dot the world
What are they fishing for
I dig this guy's mission, but the inclusion of farmed fish in the CTA is such a European Green party view of environmental management

Hello 😺💕
This is sad that Italy government doesn't care about this
As if it was only in Italy. At least there many parts of the sea are protected, while in most of the world the oceans are depleted of fishs with complete impunity.
It happens all over the world. Japanese and Islanders also maul dolphins and whales..
Has the CCP fishing fleet made it that far yet ?
the italian fishers illegally fish in Croatian EEZ and even territorial waters
Even Croatians do in Italy. It happens everywhere.
How do you save the fish when climate change will destroy far more than the poachers.
Is Italy still run by the Mafia? Otherwise how come the authority doesn't support, help & work with this guy with full power of the government?
How naive are you? Illegal fishing happens everywhere.
Run by the mafia?
Governments don't always care
My gosh.. Japanese and Islanders who maul dophins and whales are mafiosi?? 😴😴🤡🤡
So if the net's get caught on the marble blocks, well then there's net's on the sea floor permanently that fish will get stuck in and die.
Perhaps he should be charged criminally for doing this.
Why not charge those who own, operate, and refuse to retrieve the nets with your crimes before him? Just curious why he should bear their responsibilities for the situation.
whaaat I feel like you have no clue how fishing works lol
@@bullpup1337 Is fishing supposed to be catching fish, and letting them die, for absolutely no reason at all?.
Because that is the situation which this self appointed Fish saviour is creating.
@@sciencefaction2646 because he's the one trapping nets, and therefore leaving them to trap more fish in, where they simply die...
And then guess what happens..
More fish are attracted to the smell of dead fish, where more and more and more fish get trapped and die.
@@hime273 According to the video, fish stocks in the area have already significantly recovered due to his method. So I wonder whether it’s really worse than just letting the illegal fishers scrape their nets along the seabed all the time.
Legend!!!
