Shout out to Meech, man. Dude has been doing it well for a minute. However, that last round to Motor Music, which Larry slaughtered a few years ago, was bananas. There are just certain songs that just get him going, like when he went off to Gone Mad and Amsterdam Bang in Battle Bad 2018, same here.
The impressive thing about seeing Larry perform on this song at 6:40 is seeing him go along with the beat. His movements, his synchronization with the beat, his interactivity with the audience... I don't think there's anyone who performs better than him in this song.

It was Larry against Alex that the crowd got really mad at the judges when Larry didn't win this third round. They even have to stop the music for a moment to calm people down. And bro I was shocked because it was so loonnnngg that I saw the French crowd that usually sleeps on the twins get mad that the judges didn't vote for Larry. It's crazy. Honestly, I'm tired of crowd shitty attitude towards les twins most of the time and some rigged judges decisions, but if you point it out they'll call you fanboys when it's so obvious to everyone. So it was refreshing to finally see a crowd reaction and see people waking up a bit to their dead state every time one of the twins is battling lol

Even if they don't show it, they deep down recognize the greatness of these twins and respect them as dancers. And yes, some people there think les twins are behaving like Americans now and they've stopped supporting them, which is ridiculous. You can say whatever you want about these twins, but they never forget where they came from and have always proudly said loud and clear their origin which is from Sarcelles, Val d'Oise. But you see my friend, it all came with jealousy and that's the price to pay when you get famous. I remember when the twins came out, everyone loved them there. The first time I saw these twins dance, they were just two unknown dancers. It was in Paris during a street battle in 2008 and the crowd was literally in trance for them. Then when they won JD, everyone in my dear hometown was bragging about being theirs. But as their careers evolved, they started to receive all this fucking hate crap from crowd for no real reason. Their only excuse for this hatred is that les twins are arrogant. But trust me bro, I go to battles competitions often and have seen a lot of much more cocky dancers who don't get that shitty attitude from the crowd.
But you see the French are also 'rancunier' (sorry but I don't know how to say it in English. That's when people have a grudge against someone). I remember les twins has participated to an event in France, not a big thing, and crowd was so unfair to them, treating them like crap. They were so mad that in an interview Laurent said that if he has a choice he would never battle or dance in France again. And believe me, even to this day some people still have this in their hearts and are talking about it lol.

The problem basically comes from the fact that people love dancing, but don't know the criteria for these hiphop battles and don't get why the twins who is so unique and dynamic lose battles.We don't know nothing about bounce, groove, flown concepts pockets, storytelling or whatever.
We just latch onto the word musicality and beatkilling and run with it, because it looks so amazing.
It takes a minute to realize there's more to it.
Maybe in the future All Styles or New Style would have its own platform where we don't have to infuriate and annoy real hip-hop fans, because its really a bit crazy

That spiral spin on both feet at the last round was so cool. You just can't outdance Les Twins in terms of style, or at least the dancers I usually see them face can't. LT style and musicality are just too great and original. I think the only way to beat them fairly is to have seriously impressive power moves ... but then Laurent's usually got that covered too.

First and foremost Meech is literally top tier in the hip hop community, let alone the battle world.
But in his 3rd round I feel like he screwed himself up by trying to beatkill everything and be all herky jerky but ended up loosing his flow. He was also missing beats at times and I said to myself "its a wrap bc Larry not finna miss ANYTHING😂😂😂" he got out of character and tried to beat him at his own game, thats why he lost the 3rd round BAD imo.
It was the same thing in their battle back in 09, he made the same mistake imo.
I think of that last round like whenever a popper, Gold, called out Konkrete. And his friends were dumbfounded when he lost because it "wasnt a krump battle" the second you start krumping its gonna be judged accordingly. He basically krumped the whole battle so it wouldn't make sense to not judge him for what he did.

I noticed that Les Twins and Criminalz are good at picking up what their opponent missed, or they do it instinctively with battle (as a winning formula). And other elite dancers do it, as well.
For instance, Meech stayed in the center the majority of his round riding the beat and lyrics. Larry even pointed that out.
Now, Larry started his round on Meech side with a level change turn to get to his side where he did some iso, then with the beat drop traveled to the center did the epic turn/spin and traveled to the end of stage with another level change & floor turn, then did the one leg turn, then moved to the center for the basketball jump and went back to his side to end it, while Laurent's pointing the floor with his finger.
