- Thanks so much for stopping by my channel! I Hope you guys enjoys todays tutorial for these 2 mini macrame wreath Christmas ornaments.
These are beautiful on a larger scale as well, or adding a bell, tassel, making them in all kinds of different colour or fibres, there are so many ways to get creative with these.

MEASUREMENTS NOT INCLUDING HANGER:
HEIGHT: 3.5 in/9cm
WIDTH: 3.5in/9cm
The cord I used is a 5mm braided cord, but you can use pretty much any size, or type, you will just have to experiment to see what lengths to use for whichever you chose. :)

I really loved making the first wreath! It took me two knots to get the hang of it, and then I was done in ten minutes (my ring was a little bigger). Absolutely loved making this! It's really easy for people like me who don't really have talent for making things with yarn or rope or ribbons :) thank you for sharing this video!

Love to watch your tutorials!! I have recently started to macramé again and you are so inspiring!! Thank you. If you were to use 3 mm cord, would you use a smaller ring for same effect?
Aww thank you so much, I’m so happy you enjoy them! As for the cord and ring size, I have used 3mm on both this size ring, it looks fabulous, and a smaller one too, , whatever you have on hand should be fine, these knot patterns are pretty versatile and can work with just about anything.❤️✨🎄

Working on this now. Great video, beautiful ornament. I have a related question.. When doing a line of double half hitch, what is the difference between going over then under vs under then over?
I actually just made a “short” doing that exactly, if you watch it it shows exactly how it turns out, I like both ways :)

Thank you! Yes, yarn would work, depending on the type of yarn I’m not sure it would give the same structure and definition to the knots but it is most definitely still a do.-able project:)

@@lizscott7629 you might want to try a local dollar store, you have to go into the store here, we can’t buy anything on line. But many do have a crafting section with rings etc:)

Since the beads are round both diameter and height are definitely the same.
