Hailing from Coventry, England, Jen Ledger is the drummer and back-up vocalist for the Grammy® nominated platinum selling rock band, Skillet. She has been featured in magazines such as Rhythm, Drummer, Modern Drummer, Drumhead, Drum!, and HM. Jen was chosen as a Rising Star in the 2012 Drum! Magazine “Drummies”. She was also invited by Drum! to be a judge in the 2014 “Hit Like A Girl” contest.
“This opportunity to design my own stick has been amazing,” states Ledger. “We were going for something that would free me up while playing live. My new stick has a perfect blend of weight, length and thickness. It’s solid and sturdy without feeling heavy or bulky. When the adrenaline is pumping, they help me play hard without weighing me down!”
The new Jen Ledger signature stick is crafted in hickory and features a shaft diameter that will feel especially familiar to 3A and 5B players. The 16 1⁄2” length gives the stick an “extreme” feel and a unique medium-length taper flanges back out into a bold tear drop tip. This design affords the player excellent response while providing plenty of leverage for power. The unique wood tip creates clear sounds on drums and cymbals.
“Working with the Vic Firth Company has been such an honor and I am humbled and excited about my new signature stick,” says Ledger. “We have come up with a stick that feels incredible to play with. The distinctive shape and artwork make them look more unique and more like me - fierce and free!”

Actually I'm a Pro-Mark dude, and I love them. They feel so comfortable in my hands, especially with the Millennium finish. I do, however, respect Jen's choice of VF. If it works for her then go for it. My son plays VF. The only thing I don't like about VF is that they used to print the American flag in red, white and blue, and now it's black like the rest of the graphics. What happened... profits over patriotism? I'll stick (no pun intended) with my PM's, thank you. P.S. I've practiced from time to time with my son's VF's, and they are nice sticks. I have no qualms about their quality.

Fantastic drummer Jen is Like totally she is. Anyway 5 people told me something about Jen if it's true I don't know. I'm just going by here say so do not quote me on it. For all I know they could be making up a rumor. But anyway here it goes supposably Jen it's going to be doing a solo album in the spring or the fall of 2018. Now so far I haven't heard anything at all about her solo CD that's coming out supposably. Like I said I'm just going by hearsay and don't quote me on it.if this is true I don't know. but if it was true she would have said something about it by now. Who knows maybe she is in the near the future or something I don't know. I hope this is not true because she's too good of a drummer.she needs to stay and skillet forever.
She has a side project called Ledger. I haven't checked it out yet, but I intend to do just that. Hey, if she wants to branch out a little while remaining in Skillet, that's fine with me. If I had an opportunity to do something special and didn't go for it, I'm sure I'd regret it down the road.
