Gerardo in action. This will be a great pruning. You might lose some flowers but in the long run, it will produce more the next coming spring. With all the leaves off, you can see the bone structure better for a better vision of how you want this tree. Great work, Gerardo!!!

A lot of cuttings to try for yourself. Cool Japanese Maple. Nice front trees. Try extended loppers to reach the higher branches.

my forsythia does not grow like this one you have. it just keeps ground layering it self. trunks stay thin. its pretty in spring tho. good practice too.
