They wrote them and gave the characters motivation, a personality, etc. they literally have a show bible to ensure continuity including making sure the characters do make sense. When they do things you think “That’s very Kelly.” If they randomly wrote you’d think “Kelly would never do that.”
Idk man, this is just simple stuff you should have learned in school every year. English class, literature, whatever you wanna call it. You took it every year.

This video just made me realize that my cubemate is another Dwight Schrute. I mean my guy is perfectly weird. He's like Mr. Rogers but serious. He lives like 2 hours away from the office and his house is off-grid. Seriously, his family purchases water in bulk and they power their house with a combination of generators and solar panels. He complains often about needing new batteries or a new part for his generator frequently. It's impossible to have a zoom call with him when he's working from home because his satellite internet has too much lag.
He just has such different problems than anyone else I know, it's fascinating.

I am German and yes, Struwelpeter is real..I was terrified when I was a child. Then again, keep in mind that some traditions don't really exist. After all it's a TV show.

Dwight’s rituals are mostly based on Nazi or Amish traditions. Best and surprising talent was being the ‘baby whisperer. The way he gently waved his fingers over CeCe’s face cracks me up every time
I just wanted to say that Jim’s fondness and admiration towards Dwight was actually a journey of acceptance and encouragement ❤
