I believe Regine can still be able to hit high notes, maybe higher that Mori but it appears that she’s already having difficulty sustaining it. Which is understandable due to her age. And that is why she had to abruptly stop on the bridge part where she’s supposed to sustain it.

The bridge part is just easy for her, she just didn't practice that part well. If sustaining highnote is your concern, the ending part is the answer, sustained A5 NOTE.

Regine in her 30s can sing this in her sleep. Fans know. You are right, she messed up on that part. Her voice is not as fluid as it used to be after giving birth. This fact is kind of saddening, but at the same time amazing because up to this point in time no one has ever surpassed her vocal prowess at least in the Philippines or probably even the world.

I hope you had a chance to react to the whole performance. But, yeah I agree with you Ovela. I like when Regine belts her ass off and sometimes she overdoes it however, that's what she did over a decade already. She is known for doing crazy runs and flares. And people who are really not a fan of hers, they didn't like it but the most important is we are here supporting her career because she still continues to entertain us and tries to deliver a 100% performance even though her voice is not in a good condition sometime. She is a very competitive person even with her age right now and she told it in one of her interviews that even before she was like that and that will never go away to her.
I couldn't agree more! To add up, Regine has that adrenaline that even her co-singers in the prod would be amazed. She rehearsed her parts but wait till she sings it live. She has that energy / excitement that made her do those runs and unexpected "flares" or head tones that her co-performers wouldn't expect it coming. Yeah, that's just her on stage for almost 4 decades now. I guess that made her still in the top of the game. People still wanna hear her and new diva's draw inspiration from her.
She never sings the same song with the same arrangement over the years. Like, can you tell me how many times "On the Wings of Love" was rearrange??? It's the same song with couple of versions by her and I am still getting that "Reginified effect" and goosebumps. She's adaptive to how she sounds at present and what she can and cannot do in her singing and belting style. There's always something new with what we hear and felt familiar with in her songs.
There's always something to look forward to with Regine as a singer, musical genius and a fashion Icon.
