- It’s been 5 years since Ed launched Airdrop Bikes from his garage in Sheffield. Although they haven’t moved far to their new workshop, they’ve come a long way in terms of the bikes they’re building. To celebrate, Airdrop put together a limited edition Edit v4 build with a unique polished finish and a baller build kit from Rockshox, SRAM, EXT and Burgtec. Only five frames and five full bikes will be produced.

It's good to see someone using an actual pipe cutter. I got so much shit over the years it's unbelievable. I always saw the pipe cutter as common sense and as the better choice. And let's not forget it takes up much less room, it's easier and faster.

I love this high professional tig welding joints in the aluminium frames and also the CNC cutting parts :D :D
Very different to the majority of carbon frames!
@@GeeMilner Of course, carbon frames are lighter, but they give you a harder impact and on the other hand the aluminum frames are a little heavier with a softer impact , as I know from the characteristics of materials.

@@alvinalbano8424Don't you worry and I have not a high level mtb ,the only that I have it's a cheap walmart 2005 year mtb, however I do what I can with this and learning by myself for the mtb. ;D
@@fotmil98 I have a second hand Trek hardtail that I bought for 35€..
I fitted better fork, pedals, seat and wider tyres and it already rides like a best.. It cost me a bit more and it's still a hardtail, but I love it and I'm still gonna modify it bit by bit.

That workshop its so clean , illuminated and well organized , i would love to see future episodes in similar place ... This frame , i would accept if the rear axle socket would be made uni body , why they made with a separate piece with screws ? Its just more difficult to be manufactured
Both the rear dropouts and brake mount are replaceable if they get damaged.

I really like using a pipe-cutter as well. Anyone know where I can find the tool he used to de-bur the inside of the steer-tube? Cheers.
You can get a regular pipe de-burring tool from any good plumbing supply shop. The one we use in this dream build came from Machine Mart and was around £8.
