Gerald Swindle has saved lives. He's looked one dead in the eye and given them a reason. He's not just a fisherman, he's also an amazing life coach on how to always grind it out and keep your head up no matter what. I'm beyond proud to call myself a fan of his. He did great and left everything this season on the water. God bless you bud. You didn't have to win this to still be considered among the legends of bass fishing.

@@Grannyknockers If you fish a 3 or 4 day tournament and hurt from head to toe after nine hours on the water day after day, these guys are most definitely athletes. I have to disagree with you , no other sports game last nine hours for 3 days.

I remember fishing inland and logan martin night tournaments and gman being there thinking this guy is nuts, how does he catch them all he does is fly around. End of the night win or lose he shook our hands talked to us and was a genuine guy.
Yep hes never got his roots from fishing at inland as a kid I think if he won 10 classics he would still be the gman very humble guy

Man I build concrete foundations an it sucks all I want is to be on that stage everyone looks at me like I’m crazy. I’m gonna be there one day to prove them all wrong. I have a burning in my gut for it I had a drug addiction that got in my way for a long time an now that I’m away from it all I think about is fishing. Congrats on the win man hope to see you up there again
