Nice, but violin dominates . Lyrics are not heard clearly.

Yes. that is the problem. That voilinist is Shri Pavan Singh who is well experienced person but it is sad that even classical instrumentlists also are mad for more sound than what is required for a melodious presentation. Truly the volume of violin has spoiled the whole melody of all the folk songs and the singer's all efforts were thrown into the dust bin by the violinist with his over-sound. In the middle of the presentation, tabla player indicated to the violinist to reduce the volume as it is more and dominating. Sometimes, though I install strict sound discipline in my personal music concerts, the monkey of volume in these instrumentalists like Tabla, Pads, Keyboards etc., comes out and spoils the whole show, but I immediately stop the concert and ask that instrumentalist why he increased his volume. From such bad experience, I started keeping the sound mixer just beside my keyboard. You can see the sound mixer beside me in my concert videos for the last 6 to 8 years. This sound madness is very bad habit of almost 90% instrumentalists including classical music instrumentalists and singers of film songs. That is the worst thing I experienced in my musical life. Any way I protect my concert from such mad instrumentalists by stopping that song immediately and reduce his sound to the required level in the mixer kept beside me. I truly hate these sound-mad singers and instrumentalists. After controlling so much I get this type of output.

After swetting so much with them, again the mad-sound-monkey in them comes out like a ghost sometimes since in 99 out of 100 concerts they enjoy their mad-sound-volume and when they play with me the hundredth person, that worst habit comes out sometimes and I had to stop that song and start again. Getting on like this with these sound-mad-people, I lose concentration on my own bit-work that I could have played better if these idiots do not trouble me with their stage-indiscipline and sound-indiscipline. Sad that more than 90% of the singers & instrumentalists of film songs lack common sense of melody levels and this virus crept into the classical field also. I have seen Mirdangists, violinists of classical music, asking sound engineer to increase their volumes though as I sitting in the audience felt the sound has been melodous and fine already. The sound-volume-madness has become a chronic cancer among most of the stage performers. They are ok in TV shows etc., because they cannot play with sound-volume otherwise they become sound-crazy, spoil the whole performace, go home unbothered.🙏

@@SeethaRamaiah Exactly sir, I think you are enough for those folk songs, bit work on flute , shahani and other tones played by you brings new colour to the songs. Thank you so much sir. Once I had the opportunity of watching your performance nearly and in your presence I played for a song of my bosom friend from Parlakhemundi. I love your dedication and admire your memory power.
