We missed you! So glad to see you back, and GIRL. The eczema be rough this year. I hope you can see a derm soon to find relief! I’m experiencing a flare up on my fingers/neck/face too, and it is so uncomfortable. Good luck! 💕
Omg! That punch-needling frame is beautiful, Stephanie!! If you sold those, I would definitely buy it, lol. You’re so talented! :)
I’ve gone through that eczema struggle for so many years too! It’s rough. I realized a couple years ago that every time I tried to wean off steroid creams, my rashes would spread to new areas. Turns out my skin was super addicted to the steroids and was now reacting to me trying to quit-it wasn’t “normal” eczema anymore. I basically had to go through hell after quitting them. Just sharing here in case anyone else is going through the same thing. There’s a ton of content on CZcams and online for people going through that if you search for “topical steroid withdrawal” or “topical steroid addiction.” Cheers to better skin in 2022 🤞🏼
YESSSS so glad these favorites videos are back! I've missed them, Steph always has the best finds! Please keep posting (:
Yay, I love these types of videos from you! Not to sounds like an ad, but one of my little cousins has severe eczema on her hands that was aggravated by hand sanitizer use, so I bought her the Cerave Therapeutic Hand cream & Cerave Healing Ointment and her hands are so much better now. I'm glad you've been able to find some relief with the products you're using
You look stunning Stephanie! Posting more this year would be amazing! You’ve been missed🤍
Don't feel pressured to do monthly! Even seasons favourites (spring favourites etc) would be good
Ahhhh steph, it’s so nice to see a video from you. :) Favorites videos are my fav & I lean towards your recommendations more than anyone because of our similar skin concerns. I hope this becomes a regular!
I love the vibe of this video so laid back and chill I love these kind of videos!!
Ughh I feel you on the eczema I've been struggling for YEARS and even became steroid dependent at one point! One thing I've found that really helped was staying on top of probiotics, which is something my derm suggested. I was taking probiotic daily supplements but found that eating probiotics foods was more helpful (yogurts, kimchi, kombucha, yakult). I feel that it prevented new flare ups and the worsening of existing patches
How long did it take you to start noticing a difference ?
@@xoxjelloxox I never noticed things getting better per se, but whenever I ran out of yogurt and didn’t restock I would get really bad flare ups and my boyfriend was actually the one to point out the connection!
Stephanie - the eczema may be inflammation-related, and the body naturally becomes more prone to inflammation as we age. I would talk to someone about it for sure, as there are a lot of ways to be proactive about combatting inflammation through lifestyle choices. Just a suggestion!
Your favorites and gift guides are the best -- you always have fun craft things to share (and you're so talented at creating things, too!) and your skin and makeup preferences mirror mine so I end up really loving the stuff you show.
Please take care and do more of these whenever you have time
i was literally just thinking about how you and Jenn would do monthly faves back in 2015ish! i would watch them religiously. it's crazy to think how much time has passed, you've grown so much!
FAVOURITES!! I do actually love this series from CZcamsrs and I want to hear more about what you loveeeee 🧡❤🧡❤ your skin looks amazing Stephanie!
I really enjoyed the format of this video!! I liked how you included snippets of a make up tutorial while talking about each product.
It's nice seeing you again! Your favorites roundups have always been the highlight of every month and every new year 😊 Rael's pimple patches are still the only ones I ever used ever since you recommended them in a video lmao
so glad you're back!! i recommend anything with colloidal oatmeal for eczema. also if a flare up gets super unbearably itchy, def take an allergy pill. it'll calm it down some.
That ren cream is amazing! I’ve been using it for years. Honestly the whole line is amazing and I don’t even have sensitive skin btw
So glad you’re back! I have recommendations for the ezcema people out here too. I’ve been suffering this skin condition for quite some time now and the specialist gave me the holy grail to it. I use daily for my face ‘Toleriane Dermallergo Creme’ by La Roche-Posay and ‘Lipikar Baume AP+M’ for the rest of the body by the same brand, and let me tell you, thank god it worked cause I couldn’t even use my hands at some point! I hope it helps you too! 🤗
Dude!!! Seriously, I’ve been looking for you forever… Im a back in the day (2012/2013) viewer… glad I found your channel again!!
Love your videos! They are really my me moment when I feel like I’m literally hanging out with a friend. Grateful to see you here 🥰
Hi Stephanie!
I am a nurse and really really struggle with bad eczema on my hands too. Constantly using my hands and having to wash them so much really triggers the eczema, so I feel your pain. You have the right idea in keeping your hands moisturized. In addition to steroid ointment - clobetasol propionate cream does wonders for me when I have flares, I swear by the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream! They sell it at Target or most drug stores and only $5. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist - so so helpful. I hope you try and it gives you relief!
I’ve had really bad eczema my whole life too (mostly on my face and body) and nothing the doctors ever gave me helped, I tried all the steroid creams etc. i started taking turmeric pills every day and it’s helped calm down my eczema immensely on my face and body. I also use the Aveeno oatmeal bath when i’m having bad break outs, i’d recommend that for you as well!
I've suffered from eczema my whole life and I've seen a huge difference after switching my body wash, laundry detergent, and lotions to fragrance free and also cutting out dairy. I mostly cut out dairy to help with my endometriosis, but it also seems to have cleared up a lot of my eczema! Even using the different prescribed creams didn't help as much as these changes.
Love your favorites 🤧✨
Hi glad to see you uploading again, I’ve been a silent watching for years but wanted to comment as a fellow eczema suffer since a very young age. Try avoid using products with perfume in them and if you ever really struggle with itchiness, the best thing to do it to run your skin under cold water (never hot water) to relieve the itch. Also having an ice pack on it will help too xxx
Laroche Posay skin calming really helps my eczema in my face and during winter time I slug it, meaning I put a layer on top of it aquaphor. it helps trap that cream instead of evaporating it in the skin.
You are so genuine and so beautiful! Thank you for the upload!
I love the DIY/crafting. Reminds me of your very first few videos you ever posted on CZcams. Love the content, more of this DIY stuff please 💗
Happy to see you back!!
The punch needle coasters are so adorable! I was obsessed with punch needling at one point and made a pillow, but now I want to make your coasters haha. I love watching your favourites because we have similar tastes-ish. If you're looking for really good hair ties, I highly recommend Kooshoo!😁
My go to hand cream for my eczema is Avon moisture therapy intensive healing & repair. It comes in a long squeeze tube that i always have in my bag. It sounds like the same texture as the bloody knuckles. Not greasy but almost like a silk powderish barrier. And then at night i just slather vaseline on the really bad spots
Miss your vlogs steph but thanks for posting 💕
No eczema here but definitely have some sensitive skin issues lately, thank you so much for being real!! Adding the CBD to my cart for sure
GIRL that voluminous primer has been around for AGESSSS and it’s the best one!!!!!
I loved this! 😍
Please drop the skincare routine! Your skin is absolute perfection 😍
We missed you Steph!! So glad to have you back on CZcams 🥰🥰
These are my absolute favorite videos!!
Also Krave Beauty just came out with a body cream with their great barrier relief serum formula so maybe that might help with your eczema!
So excited! I love your favorites. Also you seems soooo happy!!
oh, the feels when I first had an eczema reaction on my face/body I did not know what to do! I did not want to rely on steroids creme since your body gets addicted to it. I did a whole anti-inflammatory diet, my eczema cleared in at least a month or so! a lot of eczema is stemming from the inside of your gut so lots of probiotic-rich foods! during my healing journey, I watched a CZcamsr janice eadie on her eczema journey, helped me soo much!
Thanks for mentioning exxema and thankful for the suggestions in the comments
GIRL I missed you! So happy to hear your voice here again 🌸
I'm very dry and I enjoy the Shiseido concealer! Happe to see you Stephanie! x
I also sometimes suffer with severe hand eczema that crack and bleed. Seen a dermatologist and done a patch test but didn’t identify an allergen. The only thing that helps me apart from using steroid cream during a flare up is not using a regular hand soap. I switched to Cetophil for washing hands and it seems to prevent a flare up..
QUEEEEEEEEEN, WE HAVE MISSED YOU!!!
ahhhh i like screamed when i noticed you posted! just had to say we missed seeing your face! so happy to see you're doing favorites again honestly my fav videos and you look as beautiful as ever love u stephanie :')
i just love your favorites videos!!! keep it up please!! 🤩
I love punch needling! I got into it when I was pregnant.
Omg a favourites video?!! Yeeesssss I’m so excited to watch this!!
Try udder balm for your dry hands. You can get it on Amazon. It was made for potters’ hands where when you throw clay it drys out your hands and it’s super effective! Hope this helps
My friend also has crazy eczema on her hands. She started using nipple cream (the kind moms use postpartum) that she purchased at target and it's helped her so much. Hope this helps you also!
try skinfix eczema hand cream from sephora! the best hand cream I've tried
Another really great calming moisturiser is from a Korean brand called Klairs. It’s called the midnight blue calming cream. I use it to help calm my acne and it’s amazing. I get mine from YesStyle (I’m in Australia)
Missed your videos!!
I missed your content ! I know you since your very first video. Can’t wait to see more of you! Stay healthy 🥰
Eucerin hand cream is fantastic because it contains urea and lactic acid. Covering up eczema is not a bad thing - some eczema therapy includes wet wrapping (vaseline and/or aquaphor, and then wrapped up in band-aid, or socks lol). It allows your skin to heal.
Tower28 SOS spray has been amazing for my eczema and dermatitis flare ups!
So I've got terrible eczema, my doctor prescribed me triamcinolone ointment and for those little cuts I use liquid bandaid (bend your finger so its the most open the wound can get, apply it, let it dry while it's bent). I'm a nurse and I'm washing my hands constantly. Hope this helps!
Skinfix is amazing for my Excema. I didn't have it before until my second tiny human. And it's the only cream that helps.
My eczema was solved by virgin coconut oil. I use it every night as my body lotion. Tried so many creams, laser therapy and even steroids but nothing worked. It took me a while to get used to the smell but didn't mind it at all when I noticed it cleared up my skin problems. Also, I really think cleansing the liver helped a lot. Eating healthy, cutting out alcohol and cigarettes and reducing chemicals used on the body.
I had the same extreme dry hands with cracking like you but after using The Extreme Hydration Concentrate lotion by The Chemistry Brand in combo w/ Aveeno 1% Hydrocortisone cream kept the flare ups away. Hopefully it can help you too!
Missed you Steph!
I’ve had eczema for years - using hydrocortisone for years. Was told by a naturopath to use cotton gloves with eczema cream/aqua phone. It has worked well. My eczema is stress-related.
Using Cetaphil gentle cleanser to wash hands too has helped.
Hi Stephanie, I have struggled with eczema for years before I found out I have a skin allergy!!! You could be allergic to a variety of things, such as natural ingredients like myself or to nickel and other chemicals. You should check that out, I have tried every cream in the market before finding out and you cannot have it spread otherwise is a mess. Have a derma test at the hospital
As someone who has struggled with eczema, keep your hands out of water. Cerave healing ointment helps my cracked skin. ❤️
will you show a tutorial on how you made your frame!?
Missed you!! Always love your favorites!! Gonna go grab that lash primer right not!!
I legit cried when I saw your thumbnail!!!! Welcome back 😭😭😭😭💕💕💕💕💕
Stephanie, I don't even wear makeup and yet I watch these to the end cuz I fcking enjoy you as a person! thanks for being here!
So glad to see you back Steph, missed u :)
The exact same thing happened to my skin when I turned 31, except it was over my entire body. SOOOOO ITCHY.
You're just naturally THAT girl and some people can't handle that. Love your favorites and can't wait to see what else you record!
Omg! I have the same cracks in my hands/fingers too! Every night I have the put bandaids on them cuz it’s uncomfortable when I sleep, great vid!
I don’t have eczema but I wash my hands a lot bc I’m a germaphobe to the point where my hands get super super dry, cracked, and irritated and I’ve been using both lush’s handy gurugu and helping hands hand lotions the past few years which have helped a lot!
I just looked up útiles and thought I’d share, looks like it’s pronounced ooh-tea-les (like “tools” in Spanish) and the founder is Ariana Grande’s hairstylist Josh Liu! Looks like he uses them on her snatched ponytails so makes sense why they’d be so good lol. Thanks for the recommendation, I’m always on the hunt for good hair ties!
Hi. the best eczema lotion that worked for me was the aveeno baby eczema lotion. You should try it! Works for the body and face. I also had eczema and acne at the same time too and got prescribed doxycycline for the acne, so maybe that would also work for you. There’s also anti microbial spray you can get that helps the eczema heal as well. And if you’re allergic to anything it might also be aggravating the eczema so you could try allergy medicine. The steroid creams never worked for me, but they’re also an option. Eczema and acne suck. 😭😂 Best of luck 💗
Steph we missed you!!!
ahh yay punch needling!!!
agh i missed you on here!!
We missed you!
I LOOOOVE your thumbnail!!! Haha so cute
babygirl is back!!! if you can stand the feeling of oil on your hands, try CBD oil. it’s anti-inflammatory. i’ve got sun damage on my legs from my recent vacation + my legs are so cracked + scaly. i’m going to try the tub of hyaluronic acid from Deciem! keep ya posted on how it work!
happy to see you back bb 💓💓
nvm, just saw the part where you got to your CBD oil!
Love you, Steph!
Steph!!! I missed you 😭😭😭❤❤❤❤❤
23:03 good stock in them genes!
Hi Steph! Can you share where you purchase your jewlery from, specificially in Oakland?
This is very interesting content ....Appreciate your video😊
can you open an etsy shop for that cutest mirror?!!!!
My spouse has eczema, which seemed to be aggravated by vitamin D deficiency (checked via blood test) . Once he started taking vitamin D supplement, the eczema has been getting better.
As soon as this video popped up, I had to set work aside & take a break to watch this.
I had to fully cut caffeine and consume little alcohol as they are very inflammatory to my skin, especially as what we have is a form of auto immune disorder. I would encourage a naturopath as well as skin doctor. Sorry for the English, love from Colombia 🇨🇴
I hope you are ok, I miss you and Josie :(
girl i had sudden bad eczema on my hands, eyelids, and itchy dermatitis on my cheeks, and bad hormonal cysts on my chin and jaw. you need to heal it from the inside out!! you need to heal your gut. i did an elimination diet for 3 full months and it cleared it all permanently (i did this 6 years ago). but you have to be super strict and stick with it even if it doesn’t seem like it’s doing anything at first! eliminate all sugar, gluten, dairy, alcohol, caffeine for the 3 months. take probiotics. look up mark hyman for more info but don’t believe the 10-day “detox” bunk. good luck!!!
I had a crazy eczema flare up starting the end of 2020 thru all of 2021 and it was so bad on my hands too! It at one point spread to my eyelids and lips. Ive never experienced anything like it. It’s dyshidrotic eczema on my hands and i think it has to do with my lifestyle choices 🥴 i was eating pretty poorly all of 2020 and i think it fucked up my body w inflammation. I swear by the cerave eczema products, if u havent tried those yet
Omg I started getting eczema on my hands when I turned 31 too!!! Have you tried manuka honey? And neosporin?
Ooo an prebiotics and probiotics!
I miss you 😢 do more videos beautiful!!
Where do you get your ears pierced!?! I love that little 3 hoop thing going on on your left ear... right ear?
Can you show your punching mirror diy
