Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra - The battery life numbers are out for the galaxy watch ultra.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra - We got some really interesting numbers for the galaxy watch ultra. Even the numbers are in comparison with apple watch ultra 2. The battery life was tested in real world use for the galaxy watch ultra. And I would Samsung claimed numbers for galaxy watch ultra are bit off compare to a real world use on galaxy watch ultra.

Not really. I still like my garmin crossover that can last for 72 days with solar charging options.. But samsung features are way much better

I received mine (Titanium Grey) 3 days ago, moving from Watch 6 Classic.
At the time of this comment, my battery is at 5%. According to the battery usage information it's been 2 days, 2 hours (50 hours+) since last fully charged.
These are my usage info.
59.8% - Always On Display
11.6% - Media Controller
6.8% - Samsung Health
4.5% - One Ui Watch
From this info, I guess I'll have to turn off the AOD for more battery life.
However, it states that my watch is still learning my usage patterns, so i hope for improvements.

‼️No one should be putting this watch on POWER SAVING mode to get better battery life. The entire idea of this watch being bigger is for better battery capacity ... it would defeat the purpose .. also, when doing that mode for a phone or in this case, it's almost like crippling the device by limiting its functions . ‼️

Better switch off completely. TURN ON just for checking the time. Im sorry who's buying this rubbish watches .

What Color?
For the first couple of days it's learning your battery usage. After that the battery will improve dramatically
Learning battery usage only affects the prognoses for remainder of the battery, the battery will not last longer after learning...

I mean, I find it interesting. Why are you interested in buying the Classic 6, now? If this watch has issues... That watch has issues. They didn't fix anything in the old model.
At first I was hesitant to consider it being new with limited information. My GW6C 47mm often times can't even make it 24hrs before needing to be charged. I'm on the verge of buying the ultra and trading it in while keeping my GW5P as the battery on it lasts longer and it still works fine. Trade in value is the same for both. Is Samsung will go back to a rectangular screen I'll trade my GW5P in on it. Edit: I just ordered it and in doing so got a 2nd watch band for free.
Because of the dreadful battery, I had to switch from GW4 classic (which I liked a lot but fed up with charging every 24-30hrs for 2 years - using save mode mostly) to Garmin Venu 3. Garmin looks like a Xiaomi MiBand to me in terms of interface, navigation, app quality but Garmin offers 8-9 days of operation on a single charge (with workouts less but still much more than Samsung). I do not understand why Samsung is not able to optimise their watches to ensure at least 5 days of REAL ()not on paper) normal operation. Watches are becoming more advanced but the battery life is as bad as before. It's tragic. Unfortunately, I cannot go back to Samsung, as long as they do not resolve this issue. P.S. 2hrs charging time for a 2024 watch is a tragedy!
Should be receiving mine by early next week, if my galaxy watch 5 can be any indication, this watch should last me about 3 days without power saving mode
It's a well known fact that phone and watch batteries need about 5 days of use to learn your usage . My 6 classic didn't last long at first , now it's 3 days , whatever happens it will be better than apple watch battery life , and for everyone who says about garmin, garmin are shit when it comes to phone features .

I get about 1 & half of use with everything running including LTE use for my smaller version of the watch 6 classic
@AH1981 mine is just Bluetooth .How is it with LTE? Does it get hot in use ?
@@sparx2391 LTE has been good, it doesn't get hot at all when using it with out the phone 📱
One of the best AWU2 watch face is the wayfarer are circular, small circular display in a rectangle. Samsung has improved on this
On watch 6 classic it took 3 days for watch to learn habbits and battery lasted longer 4 days. From 9am till 9pm and at night i turn it off
Compare to Watch 6 classic it will last fairly longer
@ 7:45 We need to questioning who copied who. Did the apple watch copy the Galaxy gear S rectangle design from 2014, or did Samsung galaxy watch ultra copied the square design of the apple watch ultra
Apple watch is actually square. Samsung is using a cushion case that it has used before. I would say the action button and band is what makes it look like apples version

As a Samsung enthusiast, I must express my concerns regarding two aspects of the product.
1. Battery life
2. Aesthetic design
Why they don't make 7 day battery life? This is poor
Maybe with an additional external battery strapped on your back, or by making the watch 3 times as thick...
Comparisons of a 2nd Gen device and a pre released device is weird...
But Apple's second gen has similar features and battery life should be enough to even go for it 👍

If you get 3 days with watch 5 pro. Then Watch Ultra can easily last this longer. The efficiency and most important Samsung own claims are big. 80 Hours for 5 Pro and 100 hours on watch ultra.
