- OK, after many requests I decided to take our big show bike, the largest ATV in the world, through our pit. It has 32" tires Silverbacks on it, the largest ATV tires made. The end of the pit did get a little deep. Check out the vid of the XMR for comparison of how deep the pit is on a 17" lifted ATV with 3' of ground clearance.
This is not the world's biggest ATV, it's the world's first motorized pair of sawhorses.
Lol. Too funny
It was 11 years ago
@@mud_eater8009 and?
This comment made me spit my food out🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I thought it was a atv powered concrete smasher!🤣🤣
THANK YOU! every once in a while someone comes along who GETS IT!
Can't believe this video came out 10 years ago do yaw still have the atv
So many negative comments from people who didn't have anything to do with it. Do I want this? No. Do I think it's silly? Yes. What's it's purpose? To fricken see if it can simply be done! They thought it, did it, and now it's back stock because it didn't have any real good use. Keep doing crazy stuff and I'll keep enjoying watching!
Thats how you live live to the fullest !
Bet it would work great in a swamp area, pretty cool even if it doesnt have many uses...
stupid people cannot ever realize and appreciate others creativity.
demonsparkx well put.
MandMTac hoje
I'd be the first Dumass to try to wheelie it lol
+Austin Douglas LMAO, even if you only got a few inches off the ground you'd be a hero haha
Austin Douglas I want to watch you try
Same
You are confusing "big" with "tall".
Yea, people don't think things through sometimes, but thats amazing how steep the angles are on those cvs yet its still looks like it has smooth power transfer.
They're called portal axles
Okay, next test! Drive in high speed and then turn.
@imgone it was sarcasim dummy
imgone he knows that
At that point, just get a jet ski..!!!
mike_HVAC or a honda
it wasn't about freaking tires, it was about the inginuity that had to go into doing this lift. So we'll continue to be lame! Thanks for watching!
Looks like fun for a weekend or two. Hopefully it's not kept like that 24/7 though, cause it is honestly completely useless. (except for that mud pit, haha.) Give you guys props for spending the time to build and design it.
There's a point where your drive shafts are at too steep of an angle, and this is about 2000% past that point
All I could think while watching this: "DO A FLIP!" *grabs popcorn*
That's great man!
And I'm willing to bet that everyone hating is just jealous that they don't have the skills and know how to build one.
That’s great support if you se this your an awesome person
you should do a walkaround with some specs about it, i'm really curious about it. awesome build!
this would probably come in handy let's give a scenario where end of the world type things are going on and you would need a high lift vehicle to possibly aid or to help others... with its high clearance.. and some percfecting..., some other tweaking..
this will come in handy..bet life on it.
+mr “delites” ok Going through flood waters would be easy, if you have enough wait to keep the tires on the ground that is.
Yup, truth.. dedalliance 1
If you have a flood in your neighborhood then you can get around on that
I gotta say, its impressive how this vid is 4 years old, yet gorilla axle still responds to comments.
That is the ugliest, most useless atv. You cant go over 10mph without rolling it.
Isaac Whear Not meant for everyday use obviously, it was just a show bike. Thanks for watching!
+Gorilla Axle Inc ive read one of your comments on another video and it was basically stating that you guys built this to show the strength of your axels. so my question is why dont you take it mudding go for a ride with ostacruizer you will be the only one above water. also by only going through this pit instead of having fun with in somewhere where it would be apreciated your not doing your axels anygood in advertising because thats exactly why every one thinks you keep it parked is because they'll break. so lets see some real mud vids also might want to get some way wider tires even if u have to use wheel spacers and off centered rims. just my opinion
+Rayne Quinn lol well Rayne, we didn't build it to show axle strength. We built it to show the extreme angles that our joints will take. As for videos that show it being ridden in other places; i wasn't here then and would have suggested such bc lets face it that would have been cooler! As for new videos, this bike was done this way 5 years ago so it has long since been brought back down to stock and we no longer have it.
+Rayne Quinn Yes it was pretty neat. Thanks for watching and your comments
LOOOOOOOL
That's about the best pudding stirrer I've ever seen....lol. customization FTW :)
Only in America.
Damn right
No, you are awesome!!! Thanks for the props and the backup!
Love the engineering and thought process of this project. Most people play games or dub around on there off time
Love it!!!!! Awesome job!
a stock atv could have made it through that lol. I get the concept but its really overkill.
This was cool but I really liked the one where he rides the wheelie on it!
Its cool till it hits a Un-Level surface and tips over I want to see that.......
hang in there - someone will want one - great job - good video - nice build
could he go any slower?
LOL no not right, everyone here pretty much stays put, bc this is an awesome gig!
What does one do with all that lift...
Who built that lift?
can't win em all dude, have a good one
He stayed on the side of the pit to grip the wall. That thing is way more than 7 inch lift with a hell of a lot more than 21 inches ground clearance and those tires are not 32 inch. Someone needs to redo their measurements.
Calico Wolf You don't know what radius means. lol
Calico Wolf lol, sure you do. I bet kid means senior citizen with your knowledge of vocabulary.
Calico Wolf
a 32" radius would mean the tires are 64" diameter. It would mean they were twice as big, you idiot
So glad to see that i wasn't the only one unimpressed with this. So you have a tall...not big...atv that can go through water. In other words, "I have something that's going to do exactly what you think it will do."
wow you made a good 4weeler in to a useless one good for you
oh im not tryn to talk down about it i just dont see the point or the use of some thing like that.
Could use it in the ever glades( or florida swamp as im not sure of the spelling). Surf patrol for extra observation hieght.A good businessman can find an application for most things
getting dirty is half the fun, if you want to go muddin, you have to have the whole experience and that's part of it :)
pointless.
very nice, thanks for the video and the build,
Thank you and You're Welcome :)
That thing looks so stupid lol
My 300 is up there right now they r waittin on parts. I love going there so hopefully when we go to pick it up ill be able to go wit my dad!
yea he can build anything he wants to, he really knows what he doing
That wouldn't have been funny, it would have been HILARIOUS!!!
Holy ground clearance Batman!
I was beginning to think no one read the descriptions on here LOL Thanks man! We'll keep em coming!
Thanks for the laugh! That made my day!
Impressive angles on the Universal joints to transfer that torque
+Grzegorz Durda Thank you!
People never cease to amaze me, honey boo boo really guy?
i've never seen a quad on stilts before! now that's something else!
All people in comments say this is useless and still drive trucks with lift kits
aww come on man! we have to give him some credit for the work!
Thank the hell out of you! As you so noted, we get a ton of "that's gay" "so stupid" "waste of money" "bet it can't do this like mine" ; so thank you for paying attention, and no you never see anyone of them come back with look at what i did. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
OH my god, that would have been HILARIOUS!!! we'd have laughed too
Absolutely exhilarating.
Now that's just one of the craziest things I've ever seen.
It's as tall as a bull. Two thumbs up
thats pretty dope dude, dont listen to the common youtuber because all they try to do is put people down
You would think its ran by hydraulics the way its put up so high lmao
Lol I could picture some interesting water wheelies on that. Nice bike though!!
Just to test the snorkel installs we use to do in house to make sure everything was nice and tight, no leaks.
It has axles in it. Our tech designed and engineered specail double cv joints for it to be able to take the angles.
he looked a lil tense haha. lean brother lean!
I wish yall still fixed up atvs my favorite was the 2012 outlander with the 6 inch and all the good stuff and ur welcome
Now that’s BADASS!
Center of gravity is so high, I thought he was just gonna dump it over in the water when it started tilting. He got lucky.
Need to do this again. Lol and put 8" portals and 50s
Damn can't believe this video came out 10 years ago
Haters gonna hate, i think its impressive!
So hard to flip over, but we do love a challenge LOL
Amazing. Now lemme go through in my jeep!
No one here gets why they built the bike the way they did. Its to show off how insane of an angle gorilla axles can take. This isn't for mudding. It's for show.
You don't always do things for usefulness, you do them for the lols. I wouldn't take this to the track, but it'd be a fun quad to pull out and fuck around on during a bonfire with your buddies. The lols, my friend. The lols.
Then that's a bad ass lawn mower! lol
EXACTLY!!! thank you, finally someone gets it!
ah ok thanks for the info man keep doing what you do :)
Now that's some big tires LOL! Dang!
Same way it does with regular axles. this set up was made with custom double joints that allowed for the power to travel that far, def not made for speed ;)
LOL no kidding, you would just about have to have a banking rail like a rollercoaster for it not to tip over lol
Whooo MrShotgun, thanks dude!!!
Looks like it need some 48” mud tires
i like it, would be a sweet mud rig or like was said just for showin off and having fun
because those are the biggest tire we make, plus it was to show that a lift that big could be made and work without tractor tires etc
Either way pretty cool. One day when I stop being cheap I'll get a set of your rzr axles. Been running stock and only broke one so far
I wish people would learn to read before commenting LOL It's a show bike, we only took it through the pit for kicks. It doesn't need to turn fast or go fast or brake hard, bc it just suppose to sit there and look awesome!
Looks utterly *RIDICULOUS*.
when u want to go muddin but don't want to get dirty
THAT ATV DONKED TF OUT YOOOO
Congratulations, you made the biggest mixer ever. :\
Reminds me of a kitchen mixer LOL
its a quad on stilts...AMAZING!!!
This isnt an ATV, its a mud pit blender!!! xD
You need a ladder to climb that thing! haha
it's made with a double joint set up allowing a 70 degree angle.
the perfect vehicle to take a corner
Haha I fricking loved how only the tires were in the muddy old pit, a new way for mudders not to get muddy! Haha.
Yep, you caught us! lol
wow never thought this thing would get dirty ;-)
Forget about atv tires you should invest in some tractor tires, they make them in the same tread patterns as atv tires but they are alot bigger. Overseas manufactures usually have a much larger selection of tires for tractors. It would look awesome if you mounted up even bigger tires.
That's a cool Canned Ham
i wish i had money to do cool stuff like this hahaha
3 years ago when this vid was made, it was the biggest :)
HAHA! you actually said something no one else has, thanks! LOL
Congratulations. You didn't get dirty.
