I can't tell you 100% this voice is really hers, because she is japanese and the culture of kawai and anime in japan wants the girls to behave like babygirls or kids, changing their voices to a higher pitch, usually they talk different in real life, when they are showing herself to the public usually shows other face. I would say that her voice is between this one and the one in the show.

she really did an excellent performance, she nailed the ora's and the fact that she's a fan for years and get chose as Jolyne's VA is like a noble item that came from a side quest that is long, but worth a shot.
I can feel the passion from Jolyne voice, definitely the best show for me this year.
Imagine being a JoJo fan and getting to voice the only female JoJo. Like, this is the only chance you could get to voice a JoJo and among all the seiyuus posibles they chose you. Pretty epic

Out of the Japanese voice actors, it's definitely gotta be her and Daisuke Ono! I love their dedication to their roles and their general love of the franchise and characters

Bruh, Fairouz-san is such a Jojo fan. First 12 seconds and she made a Jojo reference (the greeting was referencing when Joseph greeted Santana the first time) and then at 4:25 she references Stroheim and "GERMAN SCIENCE IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD" Part 2 must be her favorite I'm assuming
At the Netflix Anime event recently, she was trying to give the other VAs stands related to their personalities in real life and every stand was from Part 4. So I'd say her favs (other than SO of course) are Part 2 and Part 4. We also know from that event that Bruno is one of her favorites, as she loves signing off with "Arrivederci" and the hand-sign

Although she's only half-Egyptian and wasn't fully raised here, I can't help but feel proud of her as an Egyptian myself. She killed it! I can't imagine anyone else voicing Jolyne.
She speaks Arabic perfectly though! And she even spoke some in some interviews not related to JoJo.
So that's the deal with her last name. Good to know. I thought she had some sort of North African heritage, but I wasn't sure how.

Oh my god she's good. She sounds so different as Jolyne and does a fairly good job of sticking to Miyuki Sawashiro's voicing of the character.

Good to know that both on the English front and the Japanese front, two voice actresses who've always wanted to play Jolyne and went into voice acting to play Jolyne got the part.

She has a weekly CZcams radio show on Warner Brothers Japan called Ora Ora-jio (Ora Ora Radio). First 13 shows are weekly and from the 14th, moving onto bi-weekly. It's all in Japanese tho (I don't think it's subtitled yet), but it's go so much Jojo content!!!

I was really hyped when I heard about Fairouz Ai-san that she was doing a fan-voice-acting of jojo manga using Skype when she was a student.
As a long time Stone Ocean fan, I can't thank her enough how much she put her loves and efforts on the role!

I like Miyuki Sawashiro, so ngl when I heard she didn't reprise the role I was a little disappointed. But hey, Ai Fairouz was really great in this. You could really feel the tenacity Jolyne had in her voice, kept me glued to the show. The supporting cast were awesome too. Looking forward to part 2 of Stone Ocean
I'm glad that Sawashiro Miyuki didn't get the role. Not that I have a bias towards her. Its just that I like that the production is keeping the tradition of changing the seiyuu's from the games(asb/eoh).
Miyuki and Ai's voices for jolyne really sound similar so even tho I was kind of disappointed that miyuki sawashiro didn't got the role but I'm glad ai fairouz tried to sound as much like her version of jolyne (but with a deeper voice)
She did as much as of a great job as Miyuki, her screams and rage are perfect
Ai sounds more calm when speaking normallu
Miyuki was amazing but she always felt extremely angry in the games(way more fitting for fighting games than for anime)
Can't believe this girl makes me laugh so hard by her first self introduction line: "happy urepi yoropiku ne".
Also, the use of famous lines in manga during interview is spot on.

I just love how David Animation chose her and Buckland for this, Buckland being an amazing choice as well due to her massive love and past work.
