I have an HP Spectre 360 Windows 10. I opened the Device manager and under Sound Video and Game Controllers there was the Realtek HW Audio Codec with an error code 10 (this device cannot start). So I was trying to watch this video without audio, I put CC but in my System Devices folder there was not one file with the name audio on it. So what I did was DISABLE the Realtek HW Audio Codec and then ENABLE it again. And that's it. It worked. Prior to this I had rebooted the laptop several times, one time it worked but then audio stopped working again. Not sure what the problem is, but this fixed it for me. Hope it helps.

I also had a problem with my Asus Vivobook and it showed like no audio input/output. I installed this driver and it works well. The solution is: installing audio driver from the internet. any audio driver? no. you should install one based on your system model, how to know system model? on search bar type system information and find system model. then go to internet type download audio driver. I hope this help anyone, thank u :)

Guys for those of you who have the driver signature enforcement (code52) problem i have found the fix. So first restart your pc or laptop while holding shift button, then Troubleshoot> advanced options> startup settings> and then reset. After restarting a window pops up to ask you what you wanna change, so there simply press f7 and its done, hope it could help you guys out
