Zelda & Chill combines the Legend of Zelda video game music with laid-back lofi hip hop beats. Produced by German beat-maker Mikel and mastered by Philadelphia based Dj CUTMAN, Zelda & Chill features 14 Zelda themes from the across the series history.
Zelda & Chill contains music from the original Legend of Zelda for NES all the way up to Breath of the Wild. These tracks were recreated with classic keyboard sounds, atmospheric synths and laid back beats, the perfect soundtrack to study, chill, and save Hyrule to.

It's a fun thing to think about. Most Nintendo melodies try to sound very cozy. Even ones that are somewhat melancholy like this. They also used to be written knowing they would be played on a lofi console sound system, and likely the built-in tv speakers, which were even worse than today. Nowadays of course it's all orchestral recordings or custom synthesizer music and good sound playback chips, but I think the style that was imposed on them by the limited voices and limited tonal choices on their older consoles is something they've carried through to modern games where they have no actual limitations.
This kinda stuff just works for lofi beats for some reason, but that's for another thought.
I can picture this being what Link listens to on his down time.
