Kohomaba Kankariya Episode - 01

Kohomba Kankariya is the foremost event showcasing the tradition of Kandyan west dancing in Sri Lanka.
This overnight dance festival is related to folk lore of Sri Lanka and is an offering god "Kohomba".
The veteran's of Kandyan dance lead the performance with the participation of young dancers which is equal to a graduation day for a new Kandyan dancer.
The veteran drummers too play a leading role in this traditional Kankari festival.This 3 episode program series will educate the viewers of many rituals and traditions related to "Kohomba Kankariya".
