Been on Encino since first start! Most versatile horse in this crop! Coming in on a 7 then switched to dirt and ran a 2 in thorograph +5 points! Dead square in the race to win and is fast enough! Have a future bet on him and he’ll be on all of tickets to win!
Cool! See ya tomorrow night, Rodney!
Extraordinary work! I'm with you on Encino, a must use! Looking forward to the remaining segments.
Just steel could be a shocker if he improve the one grind speed to close faster down the stretch.
GREAT INFORMATION, I really like Society Man underneath
Thank you for doing a segment on form,imo the most important element of handicapping. Just ask Mike Tyson after he lost to buster Douglas. He had the class,speed and ability but wasn't in form. Anyway,peace
LESSON=CHALK WINS FORM CATEGORY
Once the gate opens 95% of the handicapping and stats go out the window. You must overcome traffic, congestion, distance, and trouble as several horses will be displaced. That coupled with jockeys moving to early or late. It’s an impossible race to handicap. Don’t overthink it.
WORDS OF WISDOM
Forever young won wo changing leads and barely beat a ny bred. 17th place. Every year same ole same about Japanese horses. And I’m out on Sierra Leone; remsen never produces good derby performance. There’s a reason he ran that race instead of somewhere else.
