Metallica - Nothing Else Matters -1991 (Drumless Backing Track) Drum Cover Played On Roland TD17KVX

The first song I actually learnt and played, I hadn’t been playing drums long at this point but was obsessed with learning this one and being a slow tempo it was ideal. The only thing I changed was at the end, I replaced the toms with the kick and cymbals just to raise the energy a bit, I think it worked well!

Great Drumming, could I ask how you have your sound set up to record your videos I have a KAT KT 3 and I am kind of wanting to do the same kind of vids as well. I would appreciate any input at this point keep drumming you sound great

Hi mate I use a Roland go-mixer and record straight to my iPhone which is just clamped to a wall lamp above the kit. I’m using a very long extended usb cable from the mixer to the iPhone to get the distance. The go mixer connects to the module via the stereo output in the normal way, works with any module with outputs, worth checking out if you want to do videos, very simple once you get your volume levels set nicely! That’s the go mixer on my rack, the white device. I have the go-mixer pro but the standard one does the same thing but also facilitates a powered mic (not needed) 👍
