Seeing Vini’s development is so satisfying people use to straight up BULLY him for not being able to finish for his life and I would always use to back him up because you could see his potential he just lacked A LOT of confidence but once he got over that he was unstoppable and now he’s the best player in the world.

I don’t like how benzema punched down on vini when he was down and then tried to take credit for his progress. He was young and not doing it on purpose so instead of helping him as an OG of the team benzema tried to bully him.

So what was missing was that in those games without scoring he recently played 20 minutes. Zidane didn't give him a chance, he was a simple substitute, not a starter as he appears in the video. Vini isn't even half the player neymar was, that being said his mentality is top notch. He easily could've given up after starting poorly for Madrid and gone to other clubs around Europe or even return to Brazil but he fought and worked and now he's seeing the rewards of it.

theres nothing abnormal about joing an academy at 10 years old. My nephews are playing in an academy right now at 7 and 9. The academies are often more local groups that support kids and provide facilities and teaching etc This doesnt happen in the usa really because of child labaour laws and the lack of deep cultural connection to areas, like in europe the concept of a club moving to another country or city is baffling its not how it works, clubs and acadmies are tied directly to local areas, clubs, peoples etc. Kids can also get professional contracts younger this is why you see a lot of the greats like messi playing professionally at 16. In the usa you guys have the college system to basically do the same thing but for football going to college would be utterly pointless we dont see university as a 100% necessity and many talents would be wasted having to wait until their early 20s to play professionally when they were more than capable by 16. Like messi at 19 scored a hat trick in the el classico and was one of the best players in the world, wtf would this dude want to be suck at a college.
