  • What is the best 60V/75V power supply?
Bas compares in this video five different 60V and 75V power supplies with each other. First, every power supply is discussed, and the advantages and disadvantages are shown for each device. Afterward, noise production measurements were conducted, and the results are shown. Finally, an overview is given of all the advantages and disadvantages of each power supply.

    What about linear vs switching?

My OWON SPE6103 had 2.31 v of spikes on a 12v output with no load. Unusable for electronics. It must have been a reject.

I am not an engeneer but I am trying to make a power supply that is feed by: 1. In 110V 2. Out: 0-60V - 0-35mA. (with a knob to control the voltage and if is possible a knob for the mA as well. Can you help me out with the project? If there is a price for it, please let me know. Thanks.

Hi Alexis, you can watch the videos of EEVBlog about power supply design: czcams.com/video/CIGjActDeoM/video.html Designing a power supply is a great project. We don't offer design services.

Hi, I have the Owon spe3102 but it does'nt do anything anymore after 3 time use. The led display is fine, i can change anything I want, but it does not show any voltage. Is there a way I can troubleshoot this? It does not seem to be broken, just, kind of inactive. The fuse is also fine. Do you have any tips? tnx!

Are you sure the current is set higher than 0.00A? And the output is fully disconnected? If you bought from us, you can contact our customer service and we will trouble shoot. If there is an issue it will be fixed under warranty.

The SPE6103 has no mains switch on the front panel. Instant fail!

Around 6:15 IMHO you give too much importance to the noise factor: what about the actual output current? Is there ripple effects, is there noise and to what extent or context, etc.? Not a word on the most important matters. For that kind of review, you need an oscilloscope, not a decibel meter.

We agree that voltage noise/ ripple is important as well. Often customers are disappointed by the amount of audible noise from T&M equipment. Therefore we measure it.
