We opened a 2023-24 Panini Recon NBA Hobby Box that we purchased direct from Panini during a Dutch Auction, They're currently reselling on ebay for around $350. There are 6 cards per pack, 10 packs per box, 12 boxes per case.
You should expect 2 Autographs, 2 FOTL Parallels #/12 or less, 20 inserts or parallels per box on average.

Is recon worth ripping? Just don’t think the auto checklist is the best

Auto checklist is so-so. But the inserts and parallels make it a fun rip. Hobby box will be cheaper than the FOTL so depending on the price could be worth it for a fun rip
