Dude! Thanks for this. This is my first drone. Flew it for a few days something went wrong, had to flash it. Flashed it wrong, lost the pid. Spent hours trying to find a new one. The here you are like a silver foxed hero saving me with these pids. THANKS BIG TIME!
Fantastic flying, Nick!!! 😃
Thanks a bunch for showing the new PID tune and the different prop!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Punch It!!!!!!! Great flight NB!!! Surprised how quiet is it. Thanks for the PID tune help.
These drones are so small and powerful at the same time!
those new gemfan triblades look way better than the older 1610s they make. the hub looks like it’s a bit smaller so i’d be curious to see the mass comparison. i might need to pick up a few sets for trying in my builds
Wow that makes a significant difference, even with the deadcat version. Perhaps some fine tuning needed, but it's so much more peppy, and I can use a good bit more of my batteries. Flies the way I feel like it should, vs the lame duck stuff it was doing before.
My ws 75mm pulls like 1.5amps before arming I wonder why it's so high compared to this one
Maybe Santa clause will bring me one. I build too many quads anyway and its noticed. but this looks like a hoot
Hey nick. I’m about to pull the trigger on getting a whoop, I’ve bought a flywoo explorer in the past and loved it. So was thinking the FR16 nano baby or is the mobula7 still the one to get for a first timer to whoops ?
where do you buy them
How about new PIDS for the Firefly Nano Baby 20 2s? Great vids, BTW👍😁
sorry I don't recall it was so long ago. I don't have the quad any longer to revisit. I tend to give them away after a few months.
Nick, I threw 45mm props on this that I had from my Meteor7 Pro, they just barely fit. It actually flew pretty well, but the tune would need a re-look, but it added a straight min to the flight time. Thoughts?
is that the analog or hd version?
@@NickBurnsFPV HDZERO, I absolutely love this thing, btw. I take out bigger quads and end up going back to this lil guy after a pack or 2. Way too much fun.
Help please! I got Flywoo 1.6" and Radiomaster Boxer. I did flash Boxer with EdgeTX and ELRS and adjusted Models. On the drone flashed ELRS and binded RX to TX, also added arm/disarm switch and air/horizon switch. Everything looks working - drone does arm/disarm, but when i tilt the drone slightly(without props - just tested on the bench) motors start to spin faster and/or slower and if tilt bit more - it disarms. Also when i throttle up and motors start to spin faster and get themselves fixed in a constant high speed and the trottle gimbal doesn't affect it anymore(not working) - the disarm switch still works. Could you help me please? What can i do to fix it?
This is normal. When the quad is armed and it has no props, and its given a direction of movement from the radio. The flight controller is expecting the quad to move in that direction, but without props it can't. So it tries "harder and harder" until it disarms with runaway. Runaway is a protection built into the flight controller to keep quads from flying away uncontrollably.
@NickBurnsFPV
Looks like flywoo is using dynamic filter but bidirectional-dshot does not work. At least in the motors tab you show you can see 100% errors. Maybe you need to flash the esc? 🙄
No battery plugged into to activate the esc, that is why it shows 100%
Hey Nick, i just entered the new Settings into the CLI, but now i have the problem, that my Stick Inputs wont show in Betaflight, even though im connected. All came with the Settings Update. Any tips or Ideas how to fix this?
Sounds like its no long bound. How do you identify its still bound? Does the telemetry callouts occur when plugging in or unplugging?
hey nick! I just got one of these and it shipped with tri blades and quad bladed props in the package, which ones should i use? thanks!
Time has past I can't be sure which is suggested by the manufacturer. They could have adjusted the PID tune to work well for both.
What did you end up doing? I just got this as well and I think the tri blades are working better. Also did you have to update the PID or are they shipping it updated now?
hey man, it does come with 24khz pwm outta box, did you change it to 48khz?
I don't specifically reacall, but with really any esc we can set it to 48khz if we want via the esc-configurator.com
@@NickBurnsFPV ah thanks man! I changed it to 48 khz but getting low throttle oscillation 🤣 read it somewhere that it may reduce the torque. I rolled it back to 24khz 🙌
@@anonymous_real yes it does change how quickly the props slow down which can impact the low throttle experience.
Did You flash esc ? My drone don’t work with bidorectional dshot
no I did not flash the esc. The motors will show 100% error if there is no battery plugged in to activate the esc.
Yeah i know that battery need to be powered. I had some issues with arming and after removing bi dshot IT armed. But after some time i see that IT wasn’t Real issue. Don’t know why drone disarming while flying and won’t rearm without power cycle.
@@NickBurnsFPVI get an RPM Filter failsafe when I have bidirectional shot enabled. If I turn it off it clears that obv, but why can I not have bidirectional d shot?
@@FlyPVTarzan Is this a build? or did you buy a bnf? Have to check the esc firmware? Maybe they failed to flash bluejay on it.
Mine is taking forever to get here, flywoo sits on the processing for soooo long
That's stinks. Do you recall the shipping method? Sometimes I hear about "processing" delays then the drone is delivered suddenly.
You do nano 20?
Are you referring to this one? czcams.com/video/pFNAmX2hWjk/video.html
@NickBurnsFPV yea i watched ur vid before i bought it. Prob on my other acct though. U prob know my fov acct. did u do a tune for it? I've been just playing with it outside. Haven't messed with the tune.
Getting a bit 'loopy' in the yard, one might thing you have been hanging around with robots with questionable vocabulary! Nice rip, Sir!
lol. Some might think that...yes.
Hey, i have a question, i have the Emax Nano hawk x and i went to fly it today and it's showing a standing red light and making no noise when i plug it in. I NEED HELP. i cant figure it out and betaflight says everything is fine.
The lights generally don't tell me much, from one model to the next the light color and flashing can be different. What happens when you plug in usb and battery? If normal that means the 5v regulator is dead and needs new flight controller.
These little ripper's are getting around 😃🧩
