Hugh Grant was so good u wouldn’t even notice it was him he’s was unbelievable
Ol
Agreed
I think we're just so used to seeing him play the same posh, self deprecating character for the past 20 years that he takes us by surprise when he actually acts
hugh grant’s character makes the gentlemen what it is in my opinion. it’s quickly become one of my favourite films
Yeah I couldn't stand him until this film.
Hugh Grant had the most lines in the film with long stretches of dialogue and I agree with Charlie that he was very impressive. He obviously had a lot of fun with the part and he's been getting better and better since he stopped being a romantic lead.
Peter D I believe he based the sleaziness of the character on various journalists he dealt with during the period he sued newspapers for hacking his phone
I was mesmerized by Hugh Grant’s performance as Fletcher as much as McConaughey whenever he went full beast
I completely agree, and now that I know he lost his notes right before, I'm even more impressed with his performance.
Hes a geordie ! You don't lose that accent!!
He was always a great actor. I think he had bad luck with how bad the scripts often are in romances. In films like this he shines as he should though.
As a cinema lover, I really really feel bad that Hugh Grant didn't do more films like this, he was stuck in a certain genre, and it didn't let him shine, he has an amazing talent underneath that calm romantic roles he got us used to, what a shame, the guy is insanely talented, loved him in the Gentlemen.
@Matthew Grant true but still, he could've been making millions making cinematic history, look at this talent, but he, unfortunately, didn't. Bad manager I guess
Hugh was the 90s british pretty boy. The loveable, cute, non-threatening love interest. It wasn't until her guy more distinguished and grizzly that he can execute parts like this.
90s Huge Grant could have never pulled this role off.
@@brianb8003 not grizzly but Maurice was a serious role and he pulled it off despite the movie being his first experience as a lead actor. He was also good in Remains of the Day.
Same here mate today 3rd times I watch the gentlemen movie.hugh grant is a great actor!!
In The Undoing he was brilliant as psychopath. Totally agree with you, he plays these roles in an extraordinary way.
Saw this movie last week. Insanely fun, well worth a watch.
Guy Ritchie thrives in these kind of movies. Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Rocknrolla, Revolver to name just a few masterpieces made by this genius. I hate when he's wasting his talent on garbage like Aladdin.
I loved Aladdin! The only live action to be half decent cause of Guy!
I just watched it, i agree with you!a movie very well entitled
I love this movie
Hugh Grant deserve an Oscar for his performance as Fletcher.
Can ppl get over his hybrid accent already? He spent 8 years on SOA using an American accent plus the American films he’s done, plus the fact he lives in America; of course his accent will be affected.
Jamais Vu Fuck yes! He talks different, seriously people get the fuck over it!
He has a geordie accent
Nah my guy has had that accent since he starred in green street
@@johnthwaites5976 not anymore he doesn't
@Error Report his accent is mixed between American and English accent
Best movie i have seen in a long time and i see a lot of movies. Guy Ritchie is a genius
😱 i would love to see Charlie Hunman in Peaky blinders
Can’t do brummie accent
The entire film was a joy to watch. So many twists and turns, but I particarly liked Golding's character. What a bastard!
He was a piece of shit, wasn’t he? 😂
It was a good movie!
Right?! Lol
Oh hell yeah Charlie has his long hair back! Still looks like Jax.. His best character EVER.
@Rodolphe Egerton Ding dong your opinion is wrong
@Rodolphe Egerton No I love great tv shows
@Rodolphe Egerton Shut the fuck up
@@RickGrimesS5 You *do* know he played a gay man in QAF?
@@suzawilo And?
I'm not in anyway a Hugh Grant fan tbh. But it was one of the greatest displays of acting I have ever witnessed. It took me 20 minutes to actually realise it was him.
Such a FANTASTIC film. Such excellent acting from all. Colin Ferrell, Hugh Grant and Charlie are just incredible.
He’s soooo handsome 😍
And you’re gorgeousss
Mawen. . . You should take a look at me.
🤓
MARRY ME
@Dredd King I WANT HER TO SHIT ON MY STOMACH
lmao your boyfriend reading these comments?
I had no idea that Hugh Grant was that great of an actor. He really worked that character well.
Saw this movie the other week, He killed it in this movie ! This movie is so good
He is the best. Love him so much!! Charlie Hunnam, the great actor that deserve more credit for his job.
I don’t care if he does use his natural accent he is still Jax Teller
Yes!

PREACH!🤘
Such a beautiful beautiful human being ❣️
Criminally underrated movie. The Gentlemen is an amazing watch.
I saw this movie the other night just a great fun film. Hugh Grants narration is brilliant
He is gorgeous 😍
Fletcher: *I love having a barbe!*
Ray he was great!
Barbie
It's hot
Every actor in this brilliant movie delivers one of their best performances. Colin Farrell is extraordinary, like Grant, inhabits a character nothing like anything I’ve ever seen him do before.
Have seen it multiple times over the years and is the go to movie every 6mths or so, and enjoy it as much if not more each time
“Easy lads, I’m sure your all roadmen, gangsters, proper naughty boys and all that bollocks, but I…… come in peace”
Both actors were amazing in the film!
Possibly one of my favorite ever films.
Charlie Hunnam is a remarkable actor. That scene in Sons of Anarchy where Jax finds Tara's body was absolutely gut wrenching and quite frankly an Oscar worthy performance
What episode?
@@MAD_NRG watch the series
I love Charlie. He has nothing but nice things to say about other people. Sweetheart of a guy.
Loved that movie. Remember when it first came out. Mf awesome
My lord... he is just 😍
Hugh Grant is a treasure. An Icon.
I adore him so much 😍💕
Love him❤❤❤
Yea he is awesome
Helppp I'm so in love with Charlie Hunnam after watching The Gentlemen and recently just watched his latest movie, Last Looks and he did amazing in there too👏
I wasn’t expecting it to be so good but I was blown away. Plus Hugh and Colin were amazing!!!
God I love Charlie Hunnam so much. Literally the loml.
Could HE be any more gorgeous?
What a hundsome guy🤗
To me I'll always remember him from #SOA as Jax Teller❤️❤️❤️
Andrea Lynn totally.
I remember him from the UK Queer as folk series, the original, when he was 19 years old...
Charlie Hunnam's smile is the nicest on showbiz!
Love this film! Absolutely amazing! Really enjoyed myself!
That little gesture with his nose after he finnished praising him
He , himself a awesome actor!
I love this movie thanks for making it!!
The Gentlemen is a great movie. Its hilarious . I've watched several times and get new jokes because of the accents and speed at which the lines are delivered. es[ecilally Colin Farrell
He looks great.
He's a good actor. Gentlemen I like to see. Good cast. Hugh Grant seems to play more mature roles.
We now live in the Hughgrantessaince!
Absolutely loved the Gentlemen, the Toddlers! Hugh, is amazing in this, infact they all are and helloooooooo Dry Eyes!🤪 Guy Ricthie does it again!
My favorite person 🥰🥰🥰😍😍
Don't know what accent he was meant to have in The Gentlemen but when he was angry/yelling etc the Geordie was tryin to emerge
When he touched the barbecue and he was like "Ow fuck me" I laughed my ass off
Colin Farrel was stunning in this movie. The Gentlemen, Snatch, Rock nRolla, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Jesus some of the most entertaining I have ever seen
He was amazing in The Gentlemen (they all were, awesome movie). Obviously he is known for Sons of Anarchy, which he absolutely owned. But if you enjoy his acting, check out his work in The Lost City of Z, Green Street Hooligans and Papillon.
D. EDITS in the UK he’s more well known for his role he played in the early 90s in Queer as folk.
King Arthur...
King Arthur he was brilliant. So underrated. Green street, cold mountain - he breaks your heart! Frankie goes boom is also underrated. He has definitely grown as an actor, he is fantastic.
Awesome movie just saw it yesterday!
Oh my gash his character was so attractive and hilarious at the same time.
The movie was great. Saw it last night, finally. Just highly entertaining and the comedy (which I didn’t expect) was very well done.
Hugh was great, but Charlie was also fantastic and charming (my favourite character of the story ❤️)
Love the movie!love charlie!
Wicked movie 🎥 looking forward to part 2
hugh grant is a great performer!
Awesome film
That movie is fire🔥
Jackiee boyyy
Awsome movie outstanding
so HANDSOME
Gorgeous. Just gorgeous.
I love him 😍
He will always be known as Jax Teller from Sons of Anarchy haha, awesome actor!
Nah.
Nathan from QAF☝🏽🌈
suzawilo behave you fruit
Hugh grants hilarious obvs hes had comedy roles but hes funnier now very underated
Yes... He is very funny. He is why 2 Weeks Notice is one of my favorite movies.
JACKIE BOY!!! Geezus Khrist.
It is a good fun movie. Watch it with my friends on lockdown.
I love his accent 💕
The gentlemen its an amazing movie actually, very good casting. The script its also good. Intense moments, funny moments, proper drug dealer/gangster moments, such a blast watching this movie. Charlie had an amazing run in it, proper classy gangster. Hugh grant was very hard to spot, and when I saw his name in credits had to go back and let all the information sink haha he was just too good
This is funny to see considering the fact that he gave what I think was the best performance in the film.
He’s very humble. He did a comedy awhile ago called ‘Frankie goes boom’ I loved it, it flopped but it’s got a bit of a cult following. After that he felt he couldn’t cut it in comedy I heard him say a few times he wasn’t going to do comedy again. It was great to see him crush this role in comedy and drama.
I watched the movie yesterday and it was a treat, no nudity BS, real tense acting and Grant was a giant and Colin Farrel was amazing and McConaughey was a boss...
Man this movie was great. I really wanna watch it again haha
I love how both of the Jimmies think they are funny. 😆
He killed it in the movie
The gentlemen is one my fav movie of all time.
Great movie great cast huge grant is brilliant
That one little clip is going to make me watch the movie asap
JACKIE BOOOOOOOOOY!
Jake Green^ One thing I've learned in the last seven years: in every game and con there's always an opponent, and there's always a victim. The trick is to know when you're the latter, so you can become the former.
that concentration going in for that high five at 2:57 LOL
Charlie has been Daddy since Green Street Hooligans! The things I’d....... 🤫
Watched the film last night grant was absolutely unreal 💪🏻
He's one eloquent man I have to say
Tye movie was awesome. Charlie was 😍😍😍😍😍
Gentlemens it's such a great movie

This movie is amazing 10/10. But there’s no way International audiences can understand the nuisances ... it’s a masterpiece in writing
*nuances
Get out! I am from Russia, but I was stunned. There are no boundaries for humor and great movie
You underestimate international audiences. I am from Poland and it was fantastic!
Chill, man. That`s not an Oscar Wilde level lol
Fahad Khan I’m Albanian and this movie is in my top3. 10/10
Dude is a great actor.
That was a great film. Hella funny gangster flick
Wow the gentleman wow everything just blows jimmy fallon away doesn’t it
Can he get any hotter💖💖💖
He can. By turning himself in Zac Efron
What an awesome movie
Yeah, here's the thing, Charlie Hunnam is the treat here. The other guys are probably not terrible people, and they're certainly talented at acting, but Charlie Hunnam -- _from what I can tell here and in other places_ -- is a genuinely great human.
Colin Farrel and Hugh Grant played fucking blinders in this movie. Unbelievable performances.
Got to love the coach
I honestly can place his accent it's like the ultimate american/uk accent
