So from this, would I be right in that this would also stock access to directories on sub domains?

hey Alex what subjects are you making videos on in the next few months?
a full project (say, online store) using a framework (or micro framework like Silex) would be mighty awesome

Thanks a million for this tip.
Just stumbled on it and I am grateful.
    I have this directory structure:
    Private
    Public
And my index.php file is inside the Public folder.
When I turn on localhost, Apache does not see the index page unless I manually open the Public folder. Then the Browser will open the page!
Please, What can I do to enable the Browser to find or access the index page inside the folder?

I tried this and somehow completely crashed a forum on my website. It seemed to break my cookies. I don't have the knowledge on why it did it, but it did. I deleted the .htaccess file and still had cookies messed up. Had to ask my hosting to roll back my page, lol.
