A unique artist you may like is Warren Zevon. Werewolves of London is a really famous song. His lyrics are incredibly interesting. Thereâs a great concert on CZcams dated 1982 live at capital theater. Showcases him really well. Start with Werewolves of London. Excitable boy and Aaint that pretty at all. These will give you a taste of his style. Other people will have really strong opinions about their favorites from him.
You know they were having a blast. Not on tour, not playing because they âhave toâ, theyâre playing because they âwant toâ. And because of that, we ALL had fun. đđđ
Crazy that Joe Walsh and Stevie Nicks felt they were soul mates, but would destroy themselves and each other with how unhealthy they were at that time in their lives.
It's funny. Back in the day Hall and Oates were considered pop and "real" rockers turned their nose up at it (yep, even me). As time has gone by, lines have blurred and everyone tends to appreciate the artistry of everyone more. Now Daryl seems like one of the coolest guys on the planet and all the rockers want to play with him at Daryl's house.
This is funny cuz Daryl and John have a ton of that rock. They played hard rock, punk, little forays into prog, glam you name it. They were all over the place in the â70âs. Listen to a song called Johnny Gore & the C Eater Band or Room to Breathe or Alley Katz. All Hall & Oates songs from long ago.
On the Bob and Tom show he discussed speaking with Ozzy and that James Gang and Black Sabbath had played many gigs together and neither could remember them. But they knew the gigs happened because they had posters.
â@@joycekunzelman7435Good thing for Joe. He had no filters for a long time there. Great for us, but not so good for Joe for a while there. Happy ending!

Yeah, I've watched a lot of the episodes, the cooking section and sitting around the table are as great as their performances. They just seem like guys you'd like to sit down at the table with.
I saw him opening for Night Ranger at Summerfield in Wisconsin when I was 16 I think and I remember thinking WHO IS JOEL WALSH until I heard him play lol
"I'm makin records, my fans they can't wait. They write me letters, tell me I'm great." When Joe was with the Eagles, he'd change up the lyrics sometimes. THANK YOU JAMAL!!! I've been listening to and playing rock and blues since your Mama was in diapers. Joe Walsh is one of my all time favorites. Underrated, unappreciated, below the radar great. Probably already mentioned, but a bit of an "homage" to when he was touring with and opening for "The Who". He and Keith Moon with chain saws, "tear out the walls". He was partying so hard the Eagles kicked him out. John Belushi when he died, etc. The way he got sober was by hiring some very large people who would not let anyone near him and vice-versa. @@ZacCostilla Kinda sad actually.
Do any of you know how many hotel rooms died because of this man!
Darylâs House Band is exceptional no matter who âvisitsâ.

How can Joe not be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on his own merit.
The rock hall of fame is a joke
"I go to parties sometimes until four" holds up five fingers and smiles. That made me laugh.

To be fair though one was a thumb
("It's hard to leave when you can't find the door!")

Joe Walsh is not only talented but is also hilarious. He said in an interview that he got high once for 20 years.
We, and he, are just fortunate that his voice didn't get wrecked with all that partying! Some artist are not so lucky.
On the Bob and Tom show he discussed speaking with Ozzy and that James Gang and Black Sabbath had played many gigs together and neither could remember them. But they knew the gigs happened because they had posters.

I love to watch musicians 'jam'. This is when you really see how much they love what they do. And the best part, there are no egos or competition; it's all about making the music.
One of THE BEST COLLABORATIONS EVER!
From my Great Mother's house,( mom's house) across the street from Grand Pa( dad's House)...My mother and father found themselves. Moved to Datwa (Detroit) and remembering going back to Great Mothers house jamming this song!!!
There's just something special about watching the masters at work like this!
Gotta love Joe's shell inlaid guitar!
