New BBC crime drama #TheJetty, looks at the complex inhabitants of the eerie lakeside town where an arson, missing persons cold case, and an illicit triangle are intricately intertwined.
When a fire tears through a property in a scenic Lancashire lake town, Detective Ember Manning (Jenna Coleman) must work out how it connects to a podcast journalist investigating a missing persons cold case and an illicit ‘love’ triangle between a man in his twenties and two underage girls.
But as Ember gets close to the truth, it threatens to destroy her life - forcing her to re-evaluate everything she thought she knew about her past, present and the town she’s always called home.

Watched the series back to back, I found it so confusing with all the flashbacks in each episode I got lost! Would have been better if the flashbacks were in the last episode it would have made more sense.

WTF did I just watch???!
**SPOILERS AHEAD!!**
So I'm not going to get into the whole BBC's agenda with men - everyone, prepare yourselves, it's preachy AF, all males are toxic, violent abusers, all females are badass superheroes - but going past that.... WTF IS THAT STABLE SCENE ALL ABOUT?! Why was that necessary, how does that add to the - otherwise incredibly confusing - plot?!
Secondly, the kid DC's phone is clearly connected to one of the murders, the DCI calls the number and he answers. Then literally NO-ONE does anything about it for the rest of the series??? Did I miss something?
Then thirdly... I hated the ending. One character asks whether the truth always means justoce, implying that MAJOR SPOILER! - the main character shoudl not tell about their implication in a murder because..... why? It wasn't their fault? Fliiipppp meeeee, that threw me into a righteous rage!

It doesn’t say all men at all what about hitch? It just says how people like hitch have to separate themselves from the bad and pick a side. The stable scene was to show how unhinged Amy had become in comparison to Caitlyn. The phone was the first sign that caused Morgan the inspector to have arrested ember for perverting the court of justice . Overall the message from the reveal that it was ember was to show that sometimes men aren’t always the problem and it may not be the truth however what happened to Amy and Miranda Ashby and how they were groomed into this horrible world is what should be brought justice to as well as the fact that Mack basically caused Amy’s death by giving ember drugs. That’s why caitlyn was saying truth and justice aren’t always the same
Nothing redeeming about any characters in this boring drab drama and when the Horse was sexually abused and told it was going to be murdered for ins, standing tied up in a dark stank shed i just could not watch this sh@te no longer, pls stop 😢
