100 percent!!! Raised a ton of hype for go moose and then yank it away last minute.
@@thunderbunny0-0 yeah and there was no reason for it either. They didn't even say that it was going to be rares either. Just said that this will be the 6 fur types for GO moose
@@hugo-pg5tv yep. Great one moose and gun customization were the stars of the update. Gun customization is awesome, but it’s kind of a one trick pony. Use it once or twice for each gun and never use it again. The great one moose were easily the best great ones. They combined awesome racks, great species choice, and beautiful furs. None of the other gos could check all those boxes. They were what would set the granite update apart. And then EW managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Not to mention all the hours the devs put into the furs, which maybe .05 percent of players will experience. They could have put those hours into something that would actually make the game better.
@@thunderbunny0-0 is it just me or was weapon customization kind of ass, like most colors was bad and some good ones was hid behind a dlc.
@@hugo-pg5tv yeah idk… I liked most of it but at the end of the day most people are going to use it once or twice and be done. Glad they added, they needed that monkey off their back, but I don’t think it lived up to what people thought it might be. I put that on the community too tho, there’s only so much they can do to make changing a guns color interesting.

I 110% would have exited to the main menu. On a trophy like that you do what you gotta do. Cant believe you got another one and can't wait to see what other trophies you get from your grinds! Congrats!
A couple weeks ago I found my first great one whitetail. I screwed up the shot and exited the game right away but he never came back.

The game is designed to be a grind fest. I don't care what the developers say publicly. The fact that it costs about a half million dollars to set up tents and tripods on a reserve suggests you should be slaughtering animals by the hundred, on a daily basis. Everything about this game sends you in the direction of grinding, yet if you complain about this to the developers, the community respond with "dude the dev's don't even like that people grind and play the game like that". Whatever lol

Moose have by far been the best grind i have ever done, so much trophies in so little kills

@@connorsteffey5898 herd management manipulates spawns in a way that, as an example, would take an animal like a great one, that would normally spawn every like 5k kills, and makes it spawn in less than a thousand. It doesn’t work like that every single time of course, and the numbers I used aren’t exact, but basically it takes trophies that were rare and makes them much less rare.
Will you grind for a great one with one of the fur types ? It would be interesting just to see how many common go's would spawn before a rare one

If your wondering why the great one moose scored less than diamond is because the diamond for moose is calculated by the size of the paddles and that's not a paddle so that's why it scored only 257 and diamond is 275 but congrats on the second great one moose

I didn't know main mending was an option. Lost several diamonds to being scrap with a bow. Will definitely implement this tactic. And that rack is absolutely amazing. You might have saved my grind bro.❤

Hey scarecrow, congrats on your second great one! I’ve been grinding moose on medved. I’ve killed about 500 moose on it killed a few rares and a level four diamond but I haven’t found a single level 5 moose. Ive only killed level 4s and 3s and found about 112 drink zones. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

No, not all great ones, But maybe for moose since it takes longer to hunt moose

hey crow. love the content man, and only commenting because at the end you asked fro peoples opinions. truth is I wouldnt have reset (and didnt on my first and only great one so far. although i did manage to get a follow up shot with the 308 and save the medal) but i really dont care. its not my trophy its yours. and i gotta say if finding and grinding for great ones is the way you enjoy to play now then i hope it goes well but if youre asking opinions id suggest stepping away from grinding for a little while. i really enjoyed alot more of the casual hunting or themed hunts, and while grinding is something i do to try and get Go's its really not exciting to watch someone else do it for 3 months straight. nor is it exciting to watch them get their 80th great one. or get a diamond of that species every run. it just devalues everything to see it this often. i hope we get more more casual hunting in the future man, but regardless of what you decide to do nice vids man

He looks awesome! I might have to go for one. I will say resetting the map to get a 2nd shot takes away from the excitement of possibly messing up. The point of using a bow is to create risk for entertainment value and now that factor is squashed. Tracking him down for a kill shot would have been the ultimate. Still love seeing GOs though.
It was tough decision i made out of impulse when people spammed main menu. First time i ever did it and i don't plan to any other times. Oddly enough i have seen some people say they would rather this than me chasing it down with the .300. Opinions seem very mixed, but i kinda expected that

Would you recommend Medved or new England? I've been grinding new England since it came out, now all need zones consistently have level 3s and 4s but only got 1 diamond and that was one that I got lucky on spawn with

Hello Crow, I found a legendary lynx and it spooked and it hasn’t came back to its Zone. I’ve tried resetting the time leaving to the main menu, and other things. Can you help me
