सिक्योरिटी गार्ड जिस एरिया में ड्यूटी में तैनात होते है वहाँ पर सब जिम्मेदारी एक सुरक्षा गार्ड की होती है। चाहे वह किसी फैक्ट्री, अस्पताल, मॉल, बैंक, एटीएम, स्कूल, कॉलेज में ड्यूटी करना क्यों ना हो।
अपनी रक्षा करते हुए सिक्योरिटी गार्ड जिस जगह पर ड्यूटी पर तैनात होता है। वहाँ पर किसी भी तरीके का नुकसान होने से बचाता है। उसमे बहुत सारे कार्य आते है जिसमे छतिग्रस्त सम्पति, अपराधिक गतिविधि, असुरक्षित श्रमिक व्यवहार आदि।
सिक्योरिटी गार्ड दो तरीके के होते है एक तो सरकारी, दूसरा निजी सिक्योरिटी गार्ड। दोनों का काम अलग-अलग होता है निजी सुरक्षाकर्मी का काम प्राइवेट संथा में सम्पति की रक्षा करना होता है जब की सरकारी सुरक्षा कर्मी का काम सरकारी चीजों की रक्षा करना तथा आम पब्लिक की रक्षा करना होता है।
Security Supervisor is the primary in-charge for security guards, their daily posting, management and any escalations. A graduate degree, good communication skills and conflict handling skills will help you in this role. If you have any police, military, weapons training, that is also welcome. Prior experience as a security personnel, a driving license and no criminal record is a must.

Mostly neither clients nor security agencies want to pay good salaries to their guards. Sometimes some good clients pay for security of their companies and they spend good money for safety of Companies. The main funda is hire and fire. Mediators i. e. Contractors get more money and pay less to their security guards. Every body wants security guard properly well dressed and spoken gentle language. But mostly the poor mentality of our clients, they want good security guards but wants to pay less. Pay for good services and receive good services. Nobody wants to give minimum wages. Labour Laws are just for formality only. Central Government and State Government should not interfere in the market and these laws are just for show piece nothing else. But Central Government and State Government should do favour of poor. Topmost security agencies are getting good amount to pay their guards.
But day by day Electronic Security Systems like CCTV etc. are in market and everything is monitored by these gadgets or equipments, this is automatically system can be handled with good equipments.
Manually security system is getting weakened therefore manual security guards are lossing day by day jobs. Employment is getting down.
Service providing agencies are just handling physically security system only.
