A bit of a long one this time, so I split it over 2 sessions, but well worth it. As George said, if longevity includes assumed maintenance, specifying product and frequency, that could be a way of qualifying length of protection. We don't have dealership protection but that's how our Ford dealership used to do it. Buyers had to buy more packs of maintenance products to "prove" that the protection is being looked after.
I totally agree. Although regulation is difficult, we do need to discuss it and get brands on board to at least attempt regulating the industry better. Regarding professional detailers, I firmly believe the work PVD and IDA are doing can but benefit the industry.
