    I'm from Michigan and when the snowfall gets heavy even the widest roads eventually become single lane until they are impassable to anything but 4X4's. I have always been impressed with how well plow drivers can accurately find the edge of the road and not destroy any landscaping. This here is next level.

      With the plow he is using that is the drawback. Use a wide straight angled blade with wings to clear that type of road

    • @TheSlagman0
      @TheSlagman0 Před 3 měsíci

      One other way to stop snow in the road would be to blade parallel on the wind side to catch the snow before it gets to the road !

    Looks liek you need a snow Blower attachment for this deep stuff

    Looks like some roads I got caught driving in with my tractor. You eventually can plow so much until the weight of the snow encases your truck in concrete. Many times waiting for these behemoths to free me from winters grip. I really dislike getting stuck and even like backing up several miles with an articulated road in near white out conditions even less. I have a great deal of respect for those who have the balls to drive in these conditions in the mountains or in forestry roads and keep a intact unit without running over or into something else.

    Prova lyft plogen och vagga den sida till sida när det börjar slira, den ser ut att gräva ner sig i vägen och du tappar all tyngd på framhjulen, Just a tips👌

  • @startnowadventures
    @startnowadventures Před 3 měsíci +1

    I’ve seen folks in similar situations getting stopped by the snow pile, sometimes dozens of times. I always come back to the thought of putting the blade only half way down, and plowing through it with assumed ease, then backing up and drop the blade all the way and do it again. Can you please tell me why that would not work? Thanks.

  • @villesoinine9634
    @villesoinine9634 Před 3 měsíci +4

    i believe that a snow blower would be better in these conditions because that road will be covered to the height of those banks when the next snow comes

    • @PlowAndGrow
      @PlowAndGrow  Před 3 měsíci

      I think it looks like an old "Luhol 351" but without the side wings. F.W Lundholm AB Luhol förplog 351D. They made several plows of different sizes. If I am correct, it is an old Swedish military plow from the 70s. Maybe someone can confirm it or correct me.

    • @texaswildcat2000
      @texaswildcat2000 Před 3 měsíci +1

      That's actually a quite large tractor doing the work, don't let the view fool ya, and it is 4 wheel drive, the tires alone standing 5 ft tall...I'd say the snow is average 3ft deep with some places as high as 4-5ft while the piles along the roads being at least 5 feet high and above 6 in some places...not many things bigger than this tractor that might be usable for this work...

  • @northernliving2387

  • @timidema6374

  • @samuelnason8585

      LH 60C = caterpillar tracks
