You are a power running back. You should try running up the middle more often. Starting a drive with a pass play in a spread set may also help open up the middle for you. If you want to run outside, maybe, getting the defense to bunch up by passing the ball in a double tight set, then run the ball, in the same double tight, to the outside. I would also recommend practicing the I and wishbone formation.
