Only reason I preferred a touchscreen is the reverse parking camera. Although I am well trained without it, my dad has problems reversing, so its of great help.

Technology increase dependency only...in india v reverse 15000mm bus without reverse camera and even without sensers and few people find it difficult to reverse their 4000 mm car without camera 😂😂😂 further non touch infotainment system with knobs are much more convenient and confidence inspiring on run and durability...baaki to jitna ghee daalo uthna hi maja aata hai....ameero ke liye to fully automated Tesla bhi kum hai aur gareebo ke liye maruti bhi mercedes hai😎

Could be better if used to tackle blindspots
More cons:
Heavy maintenance Incase it doesn't work or broke
Could lead to digital intrusion for car theft
Often gets dirty easily
Some cars placed with inappropriate ergonomic

Maanta hoon ki touch screen bhaav badhata hai, par uska upayog bhi bahut hai.
Anyway, observe that generally people either go for higher variant for want of these features or they buy a basic model. This is visible from the variant wise sales numbers.

India me 80% log camera hone ke bavjud bhi khidki se piche dekh kar hi gadi reverse karte. Unke liye reverse camera koi kaam ka nahi h 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

I don’t get the appeal of a rear seat touchscreen, sure it looks cool, but that’s just a thing. Just take an iPad with you if you are sitting as a passenger and want some entertainment. I think tech companies make better screens than car manufacturers. They are a better choice than lower quality screen (which basically is like a entry-level android tablet with a different OS).

Its notworth and risky too
Best is to buy base model and get usb ,aux ,BT stereo ofsony ,poineer , kenwood from authorised dealer..
No risk of warranty void and u save around 50k .. loot ftom company
