    Lots of quake anxiety right now here in Southern California and I’m definitely feeling antsy here in Los Angeles (The Valley). Cannot explain it, but, just an energy that seems to be almost palpable.

    This afternoon and evening here in Southern Cali was incredibly beautiful. Blue blue skies, clear, a little windy and then this giant moon as the afternoon came to an end. It just felt like God was smiling at us but that does not mean the earth will not tremble of course I'm not saying that, I was just overwhelmed with the beauty of this world and it's a shame we arrogant humans have ruined it all.

    I live in Santa Monica California (Los Angeles County) used to live in San Francisco. We felt the Northridge Quake in 94 as it knocked down Santa Monica Blvd awful traffic for months. My house is new and built to current earthquake codes for California and the office I work in has been retrofitted to current California earthquake codes. I have a storm shelter with a month’s worth of food and supplies in the case of an actual earthquake emergency.
    Up until then the biggest earthquake I was in: Loma Prieta in San Francisco October 17th 1989. I was at the A’s-Giants World Series game! 15 seconds of pure adrenaline and fear! I’m glad I wasn’t on the Bay Bridge and especially not on the Cypress Expressway!

    In strain testing in mechanical or structural building a pre-stressed design is used to hold a structure together, Examples are Hoover dam, Steel reinforced concrete spans, Shears , and bending breaks, Trailers ( pre arched) . The removal of strain is where the big failures can happen. A seismologist laid into me with condescension for making this point once. The point is that small EQs can be removing support (strain, opposing force). Something to think about. From my perspective the San Andreas fault causes the conditions for large damaging EQs on adjacent or nearby faults thru continuous small movements slowly removing support (Strain) from faults like Hayward , White Wolf, Landers, Whittier, and others. This perspective is 180 degrees out from the general consensus but it works.

      @@Ben-qm9zq the moon's pull changes tides, an increased closeness to earth in the supermoon would have an effect on the earth. It's not just light.

    • @Ben-qm9zq
      @Ben-qm9zq Před 23 dny

      @JerseyTarotTrend I think we're both a little wrong here... "tides" are not generally caused by the moon moving near and far but by the simple act of its rotation around earth. It's slightly pulling on and warping earth as it circumventing it. Now, I was under the assumption that the moons' distance was, for all intensive purposes, "fixed" in not only its face but distance as well. I very well could be wrong there, if so, then you would be right only as much as the moon's distance changes when it does. I do remember now hearing that the supermoon does effect the tides... so on that, I digress 😆

    One should presently expect the Big One to soon hit Los Angeles. And, from a 2016 seismic study, any 7.0 or greater quake in the LA Basin area will have the east side of Catalina Island collapse, sending a tsunami to strike Malibu and LA within 15 minutes. So, when the Los Angeles Big One Megaquake occurs, those in the LA Basin and in the valleys of SoCal should look to quickly get to higher ground.

He said there would be "Earthquakes" and "Great Earthquakes" during this time period. Compare Matthew 24:7, Luke 21:11. These things are happening all over the earth. The scientists and so called experts can rationalize all they want. But the facts remain consistent with world events. The End is imminent.
