The other biggy is vertical space for Murphy beds
I'd love a custom made murphy bed that doubles up with Ottoman storage for example.
However I don't have the vertical spade to store said bed.

The bunk bed couch is not ideal for tall adults and seems to be a lot of work.
At 7:45, I'd pay extra to have someone come to put the entire unit together. IKEA is laughing at me.

If you have a small apartment with $1500+ to spend then sure, but it’s not It’s not ideal for college students when low paying jobs

The beds & couches don't look comfortable at all. You spend a lot of hours on those. You want them to be comfortable. The constant folding, unfolding and moving in going to put a lot of stress on the parts. I'm not sure exactly how long this type of stuff would hold up before something breaks and needs replacing or repairing. It's made of that prefab material too. No real designs in the furniture just really plain looking.
Also, this furniture is to expensive for the normal consumer who could really use it.
Not a fan of couch turning into a bed. Couch is filthy. People sit there with their butt and dirty outdoor clothes. Besides, no matter how good the foam of the couch could be, and how small and shallow, there still will be dents on the sitting area of the couch which is not good for sleeping and your spine
