Discover the greatest #hiplet ballerinas Nia Lyons, Nia Parker and Camryn Hutchinson dancing en “pointe” in our Exotic Jeans. The idea here: urban style with classical techniques. This is how Hiplet (a mix between hip hop and ballet) was born, and it’s also how we create our special denim.
Hiplet is a union between Ballet and Hip Hop, created and orchestrated in Chicago by Mr. Homer Hans Bryan, choreographer and professional dancer. For this campaign, we asked three of the best Hiplet dancers to show their art with our denim collection: Camryn Taylor, Nia Lyons y Nia Parker dance to their own rhythm, en “pointe” with urban movements to a spectacular effect. They use techniques and bases of Ballet and transpose them into an urban world, in which our denim collection is the most comfortable. We got inspired by this idea and the passion for mixing and decided to test the resistance of our Exotic Jeans collection on this three ballet dancers.
We all keep in our wardrobe a piece of clothing made out of jean. It is one of these essentials that work with everything. In Desigual, we decided to change the rules and create daily, classical and mainstream pieces with special touches. This is why you can find special details or embroidery on our denim collection. Exotic Jeans, it’s a “handmade” touch, an incredible stretching and a Travel inspiration! We bring classic to urban an urban to classic. So what do you say? Ready to dance in your Exotic Jeans?

Hands down the best advert I've seen in a long time, the dancers look like real people (they don't look like they missed breakfast, lunch and dinner!) which is very refreshing. Their moves show such strength, and it's effortlessly modern without trying too hard. Lastly, the ladies are beautiful, big thumbs up to Desigual for using sisters for this campaign 👍👍👍👏👏👏💖

Totally agree! Immediatley loved this advert. Mostly because of the ladies. Strong, beautiful and obviously having a good time without being told to just look like they were having fun. Could just watch it over and over again.

AnnaHaus23 it's called dancing en pointe, and it's something done in ballet, using pointe shoes...it's also very dangerous and needs to be done properly to avoid risk of injury. High heels would have been a better choice.

@Cee Gabe Idk they’re powerful dancers and have a great passion but the pointe shoes just look veryyyyyy weird. I feel like this would be better without the pointe shoes, because I think it’s still a new style within its self even without pointe shoes. But that’s just my opinion and not everyone has to like everything.

When I first saw Hiplet dancers, I was like "what the hey?" Then as I saw how it fit in with NOT only the elegance of regular ballet but also the experimental black girl "self-esteem" boosting for our community, I started watching all of their videos, costumes and black girl/mixed race responsiveness--I was HOOKED. Syncs with our exotic SPECIALNESS. Works with ALL of our FLAVORS. WE CAN DO US by just adding a little spice. 💝💝💝☺

Si vous avez un antivirus utiliser son navigateur internet, il est beaucoup plus sécurisé que les autres navigateurs classiques. Si vous vous faites avoir vous recevrez un gadget pas cher a la place de vôtre commande. Soyez vigilant !
