This reminded me of my family’s trip to Hawaii so many memories of the waves hitting the shore, listening to the breeze in the palm trees and ukulele music, the smell of Coconut and Pineapple!!! Such great atmosphere in Hawaii!!!

My aunt lived in Hawaii for a while with her son before moving back permanently to the 'mainland'. I've always been fascinated with it, the culture, music, people.
My Grandfather and Grandmother moved to the Kingdom of Hawaii in 1915 in Waikiki. My Father along with my twin brother and my older sislater who are born to the Kingdom of Hawaii. Hawii is my favorite place I want to live there one day
That is a good thought. I was born in Hawaii 1944 and Hawaii is nothing like it used to be. If you do go, go for the Islands themselves, go for the beauty the true Hawaii. Hawaiians have been displaced by other races and all that is left is the sound of Hawaii. Noise and crowds and people who are disrespectful, it is hard for me and I cry for Hawaii. The sound has to be enough, close your eyes and the beauty of the islands will be there to see in the mind. I love my Islands and maybe some day I will be able to live out the last days of my life in love with the islands.

Blue Ninja yes, my uncle (married my moms twin sister) was a Hawaiian entertainer and his brother and he both sang and played the ukulele and other instruments, too. My uncle’s brother died yesterday; he was sought after all his life and played often at one of the resorts and my uncle on the mainland played for us after leaving his homeland. I was “made in Hawaii” and my older sister was born there (Oahu). I’m listening today in honor of my uncles brother Iaukea Bright.
